PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

In an effort to minimise the impact of the restriction of Motorcycles and Tricycles on Lagos commuters, Lagos Bus Services Limited will be expanding its operations from Monday 3 Feb, 2020 to the following routes:

We will also be increasing capacity on our existing routes. The Government has also ramped up water transportation services with provision of 14 new Jetties to commence operations on Tuesday.

Commercial buses are sometimes cheaper cos you can negotiate with the conductors not to even talk about the long queues and waiting you have to endure when you want to use the BRT..

Why is govt doling out buses if it will be more expensive than the commercial bus operators? Shay Govt is meant to alleviate the plight of the people.
The only advantage of the Lagbus is just comfort and quick arrival to one's destination...

This trycycle ban will affect many. Any time i am going to any location in Island, If I am not with car. Keke is the easiest way to enter any where in Island. The same way with Ikeja. They should not have banned Keke.
