I'm new to writing on nairaland,so formative critism and positive reviews are welcome.
This is just a small piece please help me manage.

NOTE:The device i'm using is not quite standard so forgive me if i don't update regularly.

After another hard day of studying and probing through the meteor that landed west coast of arizona,Bio-chemist Tracy adams joseph or '"JOSEPHS'" as her lab partners and workmates likes to call her,slid into the hot tub,while hitting the play button on the remote of the home pod,throwing her head back as the warm water soothes her worn muscles.
'Darn it,i've never felt this relaxed in days'she said in her mind as classical music blasted from the speaker.
DING DONG!!
'That must be the the pizza i ordered'she reason 'but that was 20 minutes ago,when did pizza delivery get that fast?'she said to her self before wrapping her hair in a towel.
Cold air blast in as she opened the door,standing at 7 feet 2 in front of her was no pizza boy but with the aide of the uniform he wore she could tell he was from The CENTER OF ANATOMIC AND TISSUE TRANSMUTATION RESEARCH (C.A.T.T.R) her work place.
'hello ma'am'the stocky man whose shirt barely hides his biceps and broad chest bellowed
'hi' she replied'any problem?'

'oh pardon me no problem at all,just that you're needed at the lab' he explained 'and i've been ordered to bring you with me'
'but i just got home...'i tried to explain
'i'm sorry ma'am,boss's order'
Damn Pedro Alonso for ordering me out of my house in hours to midnight,i cussed him in my mind.
'i haven't even had dinner'i said trying to garner atleast a little sympathy from him...
'i'm sorry ma'am'was all that came from him without traces of emotion
'well wait here while i get dress'

DING DONG!!
it was until i heard the doorbell from my room before i remembered the pizza she ordered.
'shit! now i'm just gonna take it with me'she said pulling her sneakers on and going to answer the door.
'thank you'i said collecting the box and handing him a '40' in change'keep the rest'i said before getting in the car with my charperon 'let go'

Getting to the lab,doctors running up and down
'Doctor lawrence' i called at the closest and my personal lab assistant as i struggle into a lab coat.
'the space rock is unstable' he tried to explain 'how?'
'it began to hum and vibrate and emit a strange glow...'
'what strange glow?'
'see for yourself' he said pointing at the once cold and silent dark rock hummed and exfoliate warm radiation of light.
'its beautiful' i said as i stared at the marvel before me.
'seriously?!' lawrence said clearly suprise at me calling it a beauty 'did you know that the guy who tried to touch dried up like some mummified dummy'
'but it beautiful...you wouldn't deny it?' i teased him
'i think you should stay away from it...'
'then why did Pedro ask me to come over?'
'probably to be your own lab rat' he said coldly there was no love lost between both men,if not for the high pay he claimed he would have left the job.
'you're nut' i said popping a bubble gum in my mouth.
