These guys are the religious wing of the jihadists in power in the south west. Always supporting the F.g in all matters despite the fact that these murderous marauders have invaded and are trying to overwhelm their people, they still pledge unreserved allegiance to their feudal lords in power simply cos they share the same religion and yet the man is supposed to be a prof. Two faced oafs. |

eni4real:You are missing the point; recall the main of the thread is whether or not CAN is politicising the the killing to look as if Christians are being targeted and persecuted (under an alleged Islamisation/Fulanisation agenda) as opposed to Muslims. Your question is therefore quite irrelevant because already mentioned; a life is a life whether you are a chairman, Iman, Christian or Muslim. Nonetheless; let me indulge you by naming Sheik Ja'afar gunned down in cold blood, while leading a congregational morning prayer in a Mosque in Kano; similarly Sheik Albani killed along with his wife and son in Zaria; Ibrahim Birkuti, gunned down outside his residence in Biu; I am sure there are many more examples; many of you are unaware because Muslims do not own/control the majority of the Nigerian media nor do they need to publicise/politicise the killings. It is quite unfortunate that rather upholding their calling (of preaching peace, love and tolerance) the Christian clergy are the ones often inciting hate, mistrust and disunity among Nigerians by misleading and often preaching propaganda as well as outright lies to their followers. |

Smartchoiice:Wait I don’t get you. Are you aware that Yoruba Muslims constitute a majority in the sw let’s say 55% to 45% Christains. |

Smartchoiice:Osun Oyo Ogun and Lagos are Muslim dominated It’s only Ondo and Ekiti that are Christian dominated. Do you want to argue it? |

NaMeAboki:You are making it sound as if killing should be seen as normal!!! There is nothing wrong in demonstrating displeasure about the insecurity in the Country.!!! Human Life is treated like a Paper in Nigeria and that should stop!!! Nigerian Pastors can't fold their hands and expect a change of the situation!!! Nigeria is not safe!!! |

eni4real:Quite on the contrary; I have repeatedly said that every life is equally important; yes indeed the killings are wrong and do matter, nobody is supporting it; however, what is equally wrong is for Christian leaders and organisations like CAN to worsen the situation by misleading their followers into believing that they are being targeted and killed by Muslims in line with a secret agenda of Islamisation/Fulanisation (which anyone with common sense knows that is far from the truth); thereby causing more disunity and hatred among Nigerians; and moreover demarketing Nigeria in the eyes of the international community as a bad country - with attendant consequences such as the recent visa restriction by the USA. |

NaMeAboki:Christian Leaders are canvassing against insecurities... Killing against both Christians and Muslims.... But they got more irritated because of the manner in which a prominent Christian leader was slaughtered... That is the highest level of inhumanity!!! The most important responsibility of the Government is security of the people especially against Terrorist. In this case the terorrist group make it clear that they are disgusted by Christianity because it is a religion of the infidel and therefore deserve to die!!! Watch the way that clergy was beheaded again!!! It was an eyesore!!! They even made a public ridicule and send trepidation down to people's nerve by releasing that wicked video!! How will an average Christian not see this as an attack on his/her religion .. No.. it is not the religious leaders that is teaching Christians of being victimized!!! The video sum it all!!! It is becoming unbecoming!!! Nobody is safe in this country!!! The Terrorist group kill both Muslims and Christians.. But they intentionally ridicule Christinaity by decaptitating a clergyan after chanting Allahu Akbar!!! What the Christian Leaders are doing now, is never out of place!!!! |

eni4real:Yes indeed, the beheading was gruesome; but do you know how many more Muslims have been killed in such fashion; why then must Christians make it an exceptional case and give an impression as though they are the only ones being victimised? Maybe you have not watched news reports on some of the protest marches where Christians are clearly claiming that the killings mainly targeted against them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV3rIAvTiOo Here they are again protesting against the Benue (two) priests killings which was later discovered to have been carried out not by herdsmen as they hastily alleged but by Benue indigenes who were also Christians - just like the Enugu priest also killed by his kinsmen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QPoFT8Yee4 |
