It depends on the school. My son's(less than 2) sch closes at 2pm but they run after school which you have to pay for. The after school closes at 6pm.I am sure most schools run after school and tell you the latest time for pick up afterwards you might pay a fine for staying longer. The important thing is that your are sure they are in safe hands till you return and pack enough food so the child doesn't stay hungry.

Good day Mamas please I have a challenge. What is the maximum time you leave your babies in school? Especially one that is not yet 2years. As my place of work I don't close early sometimes please I need opinions and advise as a first time mum cos this issue is really giving me sleepless nights. Thank you

Are you giving water? If not, do so. Preferably warm water first thing in the morning and then continue throughout the day after feeds.

Secondly, try reducing the formula measurement by one scoop. I think it is 1 scoop to 30ml, so if preparing 90ml, pour in 2scoops instead of 3. You can the increase the number of feeds by one if you wish.

If all these doesn't work, you might need to change formula brand.
Thanks for the tip.

Hello dear mamas, happy Sunday to us all.
Please I need your advice on what to give to my daughter for cold and runny nose that has refused to go for almost a month now.
We have had to go to the hospital cos of this; taken antibiotics and 2 bottles of vitamin c but the runny/blocked nose still comes and goes. It may appear to have cleared in the morning when she just wakes up but before midday it will start again. Because of her we hardly us AC/fan to sleep again or anywhere around her.
It's getting me worried.
My experienced mothers please advice

GB has had the same thing since December. I think it's the harmattan so I'm just waiting for it to pass. I notice the nose starts running as soon as we are out of the house for school in the morning, then stops when the weather warms up. Also starts when we use fan. She even has cough too. I gave antibiotics when it started in Decmber, since that time its occassional Vit. C up until now. The day it stops you won't even notice, probably when harmattan stops coming back. No more antibiotics biko, try home remedies, and keeping her away from window air at night.

Once they turn a year old, I use peak or Dano full cream milk, the same one the entire household uses. It's safe for them from 12 months. But if u want one specifically made for babies, then there's no way of saying which brand is the best. Just buy the one that is marked 1+ year.

Many people have said peak 123 purged their baby tho, so you may want to avoid that one.

Wow 9 months maternity leave. You should be glad it's almost coming to an end so that your baby won't get the chance to learn the gumbody she's trying to learn in old age. Put her in creche, she'll cry for the first few days then she'd learn to stay on her own.

This is how my son behaves too. When you spend all your time with them they tend to start acting like your Siamese twin.

The only cure to her making you carry her everywhere is to put her down and let her cry. I put my son in his playpen if not he'd still cry and follow me around. Sometimes he gets distracted and plays with other things in the playpen or watches TV. Other times he is ready to cry for thirty mins before I come and carry him. The crying sha reduces after a while if you keep doing it.

Thanks for the advise. It’s so hard to watch her cry honestly but I have to be brave smiley

Hi Mommies in the house.
Newborns need a lot of stuff. Onesies, diapers and wipes, a car seat, a diaper bag, a snot-sucking device, thermometer, socks, blankets and on and on.

But in the rush to get all the newborn must haves on the baby’s registry, it’s easy to forget something important

For your new born needs and baby essentials, please contact socutebaebees@gmail.com.
Our prices are super affordable and you will not regret it. smiley

Good days mothers. It's been long I came in here, please I have a problem. How do I manage reflux in my 7 weeks old baby? I feed him in bits and burp him but before the belch comes out the milk comes out. I've tried sitting him upright in a position for long also but it doesn't seem to work. Please if you experienced this how else did you manage it? It's getting to my nerves. Thanks

I honestly can't relate when mums say this. You people have energy. As long as I know a baby is fed, dry and well, it's just really annoying watching them cry. It's always their dad that saves and spoils them these days cheesy There's a time for carry-carry, but when I have things to do I have things to do biko. And trust me it works, right now I'm typing away on my laptop and my son is in his playpen watching TV. This could not have been possible last year when I used to let him whine me with fake cry.
