The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) on Wednesday unveiled northern Nigeria security outfit code-named ‘Operation Shege-Ka-Fasa’ which literally means “I dare you to attack or surrender” in Hausa.

It is believed to be a Northern version of the South-West regional security initiative ‘Operation Amotekun’ (Leopard).

Addressing the press, the spokesman for the group, Abdullazeez Suleiman, said the security outfit is the vanguard of northerners irrespective of ethnic and religious affiliation.

Suleiman said: “In the prevailing circumstances, the only option is to resort to voluntary self-defence mechanisms in line with initiatives taken by other regions that are even least affected in comparison to what is obtained in the North.”

Just watch and see the responsible and mature way that SW, SS, SE and Middle Belt leadership and cultural groups will react to this news. They will react by minding their own business, unlike the cow mentality reaction we saw when Amotékun was launched.

Is this militia group a security outfit setup by northern govs or just a Coalition of Northern Group (CNG) initiative? If it's a private initiative by CNG, will buhari's fulani regime declare CNG a terrorist group for forming armed militia unilaterally without the involvement of northern govs?

NOTE; Remember when IPOB set up a security outfit named ''BSS'' to help secure South East from rampaging fulani terrorist, only for IPOB to be declared a terrorist group by buhari's fulani regime? What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

I have been wailing for years now that Buhari will turn this country to another Somalia where Warlords and sectarian militias control different regions leaving the govt at the centre to be weak and holed up . I cried and wailed that that useless man must never be allowed to have a 2nd term because of this and now my fears are coming to reality .. Make know mistake these are not security vigilantes but tribal militias being set up , soon they will balkanize large swathes of area and start ruling them , taxing them and dispensing some crude form of bestial government ... Buhari has to be impeached to save Nigeria from this impending doom and if the law makers fail to do their their duty then Nigerians must call for referendum
