CallMeDrino:. Since you are aware Your ministry and NCC should work together on this rubbish introduced by FIRS and network providers.Instead of giving us free air time to call as we do in the USA and England ...Enough of this hardship in style |

Ustec: Honestly, how low, how daft can someone be? I never knew tax on call and sms is what we make Nigeria developed. All taxes that we've been subjected to is not enough and sadly for the 5year of this government, no profit on fuel nor taxes charged is enough to sustain the country unless they tax us heavily on transaction? Now, what is currently working in the country? What are tax payers enjoying from the government? If someone wants to be daft atleast be daft with little shame accompanied. 1 Like |

Even Nairaland banned me for stating that something was wrong with the 'old man and his council' I will not even use words like dullard, cabal, midget, go slow, thunder here anymore. We have all gone to market and bought something really bad. 2 Likes |

richesbhc: They tax calls in other countries but not always, they do it when they want to recover missing money, Nigeria should not be allowed doing it because they will make it permanent and start increasing it. |

AquariusRising: it's in some Nigerians nature to be defending what's not! most of these useless guys including the Manna BBQ nonsense are either a product of political candidate in different ministries of this country. little did these fools knows that even if politicians helped you to get jobs, it's still your entitlement to be employed so far you're competent but they lose their senses immediately they're helped and started justifying what's not I almost cried when I read some of them justifying killings, claiming killing in Buhari govt is not more than the one in gej, that's how unreasonable these imbeciles could be but we are here to bring sanity and common sense back to the politics section of this forum. we must all join hands to defeat these bunch of unreasonable scallywags from painting abnormality with their myopic views 1 Like |

oldtruth: Nigerians and their village mentality. So you want to wake up tomorrow and start seeing the benefits all the taxes. Lets be realistic here bro,for a good system to be effective it takes time. Rome wasn't built in a day. The US and the likes are enjoying a system their predecessors left behind, the only thing they do is just to check and update the system. Nigeria have a very weak and porous system, The Senate today just inaugurated committees to review the constitution(it needs serious amendment and restructuring) For any country to strive well,it must have a working system. Don't expect any quick Changes, they don't last because they lack solid foundations. The biggest problem is,are we ready as citizens to play our own part to make this system work?so that our future generations will benefit immensely from it. As it is now, every sector of the government is fantastically corrupt. |

Wiifesnatcher: Exactly brother. I was just reading the thread about how Nigerian law makers refused to use a Nigerian made car, and this same oaf that calls himself commentor is there too, talking thrash out if his rear end. Most times when I read the absolute stupidity that some of these zombies are capable of defending, I just get too upset to comment, so thank you once again |

I New it. This myopic chest beating NCC Minister was only interested in Cheap Glory to Satisfy his Paymaster. If not, here is a clear case Opportunity for him to Stand up, take responsibility and Shine. He just chicken out sharply n pass the Blame to FIRS. Later he will come n spread his ignorance of how Network provider survive in a capitalist system. To tell Nigerians not to have more than 3 Sims/Network is Big Ignorance and unacceptable. |

Gd day everyone, pls I need advice from the bankers & other experienced people in the house. On the 23rd of November last year, my mum (a First bank customer), tried to withdraw 15k at an Access bank ATM, her account was debited but the machine didn't pay her. Two days later, she complained officially about the incident at her bank about the issue, and they promised it will be fixed. Despite several visits to the bank since then, her 15k has not been paid back up till now. Pls what can I do about the situation? |
