Osimhen just left the pitch in a stretcher.... He missed a one-on-one chance and went down immediately afterwards.

Whatever it is, I hope it is nothing so very serious so that he bounces back in no time. Looks similar to what might have occured during a cup game after he scored.

U mean he had no contact with an opposing player?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:31pm On Feb 07, 2020
Exactly. No contact. Just like we saw in a cup game vs Monaco where he scored.

I think it was either his knee or hamstring because the physio was looking around there. I hope it was just a time wasting ploy because that sub was ready almost immediately

Yeah. You right... Probably his knee or hamstring or even maybe some other issue coz the way he held his head sef dear me. Really keen to hear Galtier's post match reactions and thoughts on Osimhen coz the Journos will quiz him definitely on it.

The kits weren't unveiled in Nigeria... In fact, they were unveiled alongside USA and Korea kits... Maybe she isn't American, but definitely not Nigerian..

See the guy with the USA kit....

I think this set piece thing is a general problem for African teams. It's only recently our Super Eagles have been trying to improve in that area. Also, African teams and defending set-pieces is another issue despite some of the African teams boasting giants on their teams.

It's really a problem of coaching if you ask me. Most African teams don't exactly seem to put above basic efforts into "set-pieces training" either for offensive or defensive situations.

It's so bad that we conceded a setpiece goal against Tahiti in 2013 cry angry

Hope not. Osimhen is a fit boy! He's shown solid fitness since his time in Belgium. We will hear the latest shaa.

That brings back the argument I had with u d other day. During the Norway debate..

African teams underachieve a lot on the international stage mostly due to poor coaching. They have good players but can hardly play as a team..

I've seen the pictures, so, in the whole USA, Nike couldn't find a half fine negro to model that jersey? Any ugliness that Jersey may have, has more to do with the wearer, than the actual jersey

I agree, plus inferiority complex, I think only Nigeria and Ghana are still OK. Cameroon and Egypt are the worst culprit, they can loose to a group of farmers and carpenters as long as they aren't Africans

It Depends on the model, there are different types of models. And I think Naomi, Tyra, Tyson Beckford, Broderick Hunter and many more models would disagree.

The models for the last jersey looked better than these guys

How could u forget Ivory coast??

That squad of theirs from the 2000s to the early 2010s was a killer squad..

But what did they achieve ?
Senegal looks like they are going down the same path.
