i met nkem owoh and stella damascus at the MM airport few yrs back, they were both travelling to PH.. they were both humble and i even took pictures with the both of them..

met ufuoma mcdermott at the DSTV office in VI, the queue that day was crazy and no one was interested in giving her preferential treatment.... i ve met Tuface one on one in owerri,

i grew up in festac, the entire movie LIVING IN BONDAGE was shot very close to my house in festac and we use to go watch the actors do their thing.

ramsey nouah and pat attah came to my street in festac to see a babe, they almost got mobbed that day...

saw yul edochie here in owerri last week, we shook hands..

still met other celebs, but i don tire to type

I think I have met like 3 celebs...

*I was in primary school when Sir Shina Peters was hot. I went for a party he was playing at, and when he was leaving, my elder sister gave me a little pink cardboard to go and get his autograph. I ran up to him and his entourage...he stopped and smiled down at me as I asked for his autograph. He collected the pen, signed and left. I became a superstar in my school the next day.

*While in Unilag, I went to read one night, and who did I see in my class, sitting on the bench I normally sit on...Kanayo O. Kanayo. I was shocked and stopped for a few seconds before proceeding. I sat next to him and greeted him with a smile but didn't disturb him. I guess he was doing his masters or so.

*In 2009, my friend was managing Eldee, and one Saturday after closing from work my friend asked if I would love to go for an event like that that MIMS was going to be performing at...I can't remember the name of the event, but it was big. Anyway, I went to my friends place after work and we drove to Eldee's house. We still had like 5 hours to kill, so we just sat somewhere in the compound gisting...me, my friend and Eldee...normal guys gist. Then we went into his house and stayed in a room he uses as like a studio to make beats and all.

We drove out later to get some stuffs for his wife I think, then came back to get ready for the event. He said he had to do some rehearsals with Banky W so we headed to a studio in Ogba (Lagos). Banky was already at the studio, with a couple of younger guys...like teenagers. One of those guys was Wizkid. I knew him from MI's album, but I don't think he had dropped any hit songs at the time.

After rehearsal, we went for the event in a convoy...I was in Eldee's car with my friend (our car was parked at Eldee's house), and Banky, and MI were in their own cars too. MI had come later on to the studio. I can remember he was driving a Honda End of Discussion at the time.

The whole trip was fun and I got to walk around with all these guys at the event like I was a celeb too...it felt cool. I can remember when we were driving home, I was at the back seat tired, so I lay down and dozed off...but I could still hear Eldee and my friend talking. At a point he was like, 'sh*t, we forgot your friend at the event.' My friend then told him no that I was asleep in the backseat. It was kinda funny to me.

I saw Saheed osupa perform at a show, met his band boys who are my favorite band too.

He's probably the only man I'd willingly want to meet because of his vast knowledge and deep music.

I've also met couple of nollywood actors in abeokuta where I live, I've also seen some top hip hop musicians but I usually don't give a f.

i met that man that his hand was cut off in Isakaba selling Nigerian movies at Trade fair under bridge. He even used his hand to introduce himself.

Depends... There are jobs though but I wouldn't advice you to come here before having an idea of what you want to do when you arrive. Are you a lawyer? You won't be able to practice as the industry is protected.

You get to see celebrities a lot in Lagos, I don't even bother to say hi cos I'm shy.. I like to keep a straight face in public but I get to see most of them during movie premieres, except I saw Bello Kreb (aka pamera) at a local buka in my area, I was just smiling anyhow.. his character cracks me up anyday , he was nice though.

The guy is so funny grin

At my then company's end of year party at Civic Center in 2009, we invited Banky W.

There was a young boy that came with him and my brother (that I invited to the party) was like "who is this boy jumping up and down at the back of the stage".

That small boy is Wizkid today.

Mine was Jim Iyke in 2018.
I was a manager of a shopping mall then. My staff think highly of my fashion; some likened me to J.I. So on ds fateful day, J.I was in our mall to shop. My staff on seeing him were hailing him from all corners. Well he only muttered hi and continued with his shopping. I came down from my office upstairs to acknowledge him too since I am a fan. But after offering a handshake, he looked at me and turned away from me. I was shamed. My staff were shocked, but I maintained my cool. We made it up with each last year at a function within his office (world ventures) in maitama. But I was pained to my small intestine.

Oh lol! Yes it is actually...lots of trees within the capital and of course there is a major river (the river Gambia) that flows across the length of the country.

Eva alordiah 2012 screening "lights out" video,got an invitation on Twitter, Eva is a what you see is what you get lady,she says her mind and chats frankly,she's not arrogant and extremely beautiful,did she say she likes my body? I can recall in her words "ive never seen somthing like this,you have a gorgeous body" she touched my abs to feel them,i couldn't believe she actually said that,I didn't make the cut anyways because I wasn't a dancer,I was there as a model,I can remember she asked if I could pick up fast if I was to learn?I said I could try and she was relieved,I an sms days later from the management apologising for not including me.its a moment I would never forget a moment with my female celebrity crush.

Mine was with Mutiu Adepoju at Corona School, Lekki. We shook hands and had pictures together. Mutiu Adepoju was an ex-super eagles of Nigeria footballer.

I see these celebrities very often. Bovi’s house is close to my office. Zack Orji was reversing wrongly and almost bashed our car at Ojuelegba one day... saw Elozonam at WEMA Bank on Monday. The other day, my colleague and I saw Uti at Axa Mansard, I think. I was initially trying to look closely if he was the one, and Oga started shining teeth and waving. Lol. Maybe he thought we’d run over to snap pictures or something.

Meet lots of them during their movie premiere at either Filmhouse Lekki, or Novare Mall Ajah, or ICM. Saw Ini Edo the other day at Genesis Cinemas with her sculpted bum.
Really, if everyone was like me, celebrities will be very humble. I don’t do all these celebrity crush nonsense... or fawning over them when I run into them. I just move on like nothing happened.

Ohh, but the first time ever was in UNIBEN... Evol organized a show and invited Vector. Then when I really liked Vector’s songs. I remember defying my boyfriend to attend that show! Vector was stoned! He was right in front of me performing, could literally touch him. He wore some really dramatic boots... uncountable buckles. Lol

I can vividly remember this.

Where he spoke about the issue that took him of music for a while and he then sang, "I put my hands".

The only encounter I had with celebrity was with Zinedine Zidane,Real Madrid manager,he came to me where I was standing in my work place in Dubai to offer me a tip,I rejected because it is against our company policy to receive anything from guests,he feel embarrassed that I rejected the money but I had to explain to him the reason why I rejected it, he told me ok shake my hand and move on. But have seen many footballers like David Luiz,Eden Hazard, Ashley Young, former Chelsea player Ivanovic with his family,Gary Cahill with his family and so on,Just normal greetings and they move on.

Okay guys, just to get the weekend started, let's relate any encounter had with a celebrity. You can also share an encounter you had with them before or after fame.

I'll start...

I grew up in kaduna state, Nigeria. I had a cousin who was a local musician and a DJ who was only popular in our hood that time. He met me one day and told me he was going to organize a free show in order to give up coming artiste a platform to be heard in that area...

At that time, I wasn't interested in music at all, I was just going with him because he was my cousin. So before the day of the show, he introduced me to a young rapper who was not even known at that time. I could bet nobody knew him in his own street, lol.

So we got familiar with each other, meanwhile this was around 2008 or 2009....

The day of the show finally came, every artiste performed and that young rapper that was introduced to me earlier on got noticed by a record label agent or so, because I couldn't even remember what happened or how it happened, but from that day till this day, I haven't set my eyes on that rapper again, except on television...

That rapper was SKALES of E.M.E

I have been close enough to interact with a few over the years but prefer watching them from far than talking to them as I like to respect myself.

Only exception was with my all time favourite footballer Yisa Sofoluwe. A great footballer and humble human being. You would think we were childhood friends watching us from afar.

I eventually had to be dragged away from him by my friend as I would have spent all night harassing the poor guy.

You reminded me of Eva Alordia's then boyfriend that was snubbed by wizkid in full glare of camera during Headies award few years back. The video still dey Internet if you search am grin

... Really embarrassing cos the snub happened just after wizkid hugged Eva Alordia, leaving the poor man's handshake stretching and hanging in the air before he used style pull himself together grin
