Your best bet is the express entry pathway. Don’t think your British citizenship gives you any particular advantage.

Thank you . Please kindly explain the express entry pathway..Pls what is the normal process please. I don't really know. The normal process I am talking about is the way Nigerian process their own in Nigeria, is it that way that UK citizen does their own too? Kindly explain please

Yes, there's no particular advantage, a Briton has over a Nigerian in the Canadian Express Entry process, it's entirely point based and all applicants are assessed on a level playing field. If you've got the time, the thread link below would guide you to more details:

I did same for my mum, visit visa would have gone beyond expiry of my temp visa, had months left. She planned to stay a few weeks but was refused; one of the reasons given my visa was running out and there was no guarantee for renewal. This was last year. Woman that travels every year.

Best add enough evidence of strong ties to home. I think sometimes depends on the case handler and what side of the bed he or she wakes up on.
Aphrodite007:

Yes. It’s perfectly logical. She will most likely get it if she didn’t use up her entire 6 months with no break.

I remember one time at the airport, the border people complained that an old woman (clearly Nigerian), spent her entire 6 months here, went back for like a month and then returned with another visa. The border agent was acting like he wanted to send her back, wondering how she got the visa. I thought the border people were being cruel but I understood where they were coming (apparently, they weren’t convinced that she was visiting since she stayed the full 6 months).

Maybe it’s just over-do that was worrying them sha.
LagosismyHome:

I am not a Visa officer but personally I think it's fine, there no correlation between your length of Visa and your mother visiting Visa... UK is a main tourist hub so with or without a child she might continue to visit even if her child doesn't live here

Having a child here was not mandatory for her Visa to be issued, it's more like a nice to have
Thank you so much. I will just go for 6 months so as to avoid denial. Thank you once again for your inputs

Good day all... i will be travelling soon to the UK, Egyptair and Etihad are the airlines on my mind.... sooo, i wanna get reviews or advice on the best airline to follow based on:

1. Layover, is anyone gonna lodge the flyer in a hotel or you wait in the lounge or something?

2. Inflight entertainment, which one gives better food and entertainments like drinks, cable sockets, screen for movies?

3. Comfortability, which one has better leg space as am pretty tall?

4. Baggage allowance, you know what i mean ba?

5. Other necessary reviews or comment not listed here.

please... thank you

Are you really comparing an African airline to an oil money airline?

Shouldn’t the answer be the one you can afford?

Anyway, all the answers can be found on their website. The details are there when you are about to book.

Yes, without following the normal process it is possible to migrate to Canada, from the UK.

Without following the normal process, the migrant will see Canada, breathe Canadian air. That’s all.
The migrant will be on the next available Plane back to base.

Hello all, Good day pls I need your advice. Is Masters in international supply chain and logistics management a good option ( job prospect after study) studied computer science and statistics and over 8 years experience in FMCG company as sales Executive.

The best way to find the course you want to do for masters is to look for your dream job and see what they are requesting for.

Supply chain is great but only more useful in America. It’s not as mature in Nigeria or UK yet (only the huge companies understand the power of supply chain and it’s mostly done as a certification, not a degree). At the end of the day, you will just end up becoming a project manager if you want to practice in naija/UK.

Please I need an advise.
I am currently doing my Msc in China and hoping to move to UK immediately I finish my Msc.
My program is 3yrs and I will complete it by 2022.

I just want to start the preparation now so that i wouldnt have any issue by that time.

1. By 2022, I may not be able to save more than 1million Nigerian money from my scholarship stipends
2. I have an uncle in UK with wife and two kids. They are all citizens
3. I have a kid and wife in Nigeria but looking for better option before involving them

Questions:
What is the best way to enter UK for work. My intention is to relocate there.

Do I need to go back to Nigeria before processing visa or I can go from China

Please I need orientation about this

1. It doesn’t matter the money in your account.

2. Having nieces and nephews + Uncle who are Brits doesn’t add anything, really.

3. Oh God bless their souls... your cuties.

How to start preparation.
A) Look up www.indeed.com
www.reed.co.uk
www.totaljibs.com
www.cv-library.co.uk
Etc

B). Search through the various job roles of interest to you.

C). Carefully look at the requirements. Pay very careful attention to experience and desired skills.

D). Check How many of the boxes you can tick

E). Get the job!

F). The employer would possibly sponsor your tier-2 (work) visa.

Cheers

What is your Msc in?

Do you have any job experience?

Take a look at the UK shortage occupation list, that would give you an idea of what's professionals are in demand in the UK currently.

The list might change in 2 years.

Your useful advice is highly welcome.

You can do it from China since you are a resident. Go read about UK Tier 2 visa. That might be good for you

My city is second in the list of Corona Virus centre bro, but God is keeping me safe.

About my course of study, I am Studying Computer Science and Technology with option in Intelligent computing and Intelligent system.

The last time i checked the list of shortage occupation which was last week, I think I saw Cyber Security. That is the only related area on the list.

Lastly, how do one go about applying for the job? Do one really need to apply for the Tier 2 visa first, then go there and look for job?

How does it work please?

I hope I wouldnt need to present some certain amount of money in my account before applying for the tier 2 visa.

My uncle there is a photographer and video editor, I dont know if it is possible to issue employment letter for me........

Thanks

I am just seeing this reply. Thanks bro

The truth is that I have been teaching in Nigeria since 2012 that i graduated from University before gotten a scholarship for my Msc here in China.
If they truly want to give work based on the shortage list, I am not sure i stand any chance.

After Msc, it would be 0 year working experience

What if someone get another job that is not included in the list of shortage, cant one still apply for tier 2 visa?

You also said having someone in UK will not add anything to the application, but they can still help in the area of accommodation which will relieve me of how much i should hold in my account
