I should have known that this askibee is a very dishonest person and a scammer before recommending him to anyone.

When he started portraying the traits of a scammer to the young man, I raised alarm here and he started calling the young man to threaten me.

The young man begged me to take down my thread and comments because askibee had promised to pay back his money.

Now it's over three months which he refused to deliver the service he was paid for and also refused to refund the money.

We are trying to track him down using the Police, Efcc and other security agencies including his bank.

Scammers should no longer be allowed to operate on Nairaland as I have long been among those who have been tracking down such evil people here.

The law will surely catch up with him and he must be punished.

Please be careful with this askibee, he is a big scammer.

I was looking for a farm worker late last year, so I decided to register on nairaland for that purpose. I PMed @dedons because of how old and active he is on Nairaland and in the agric section respectively, and how he has also contributed in busting scammers on the site. So I figured anybody dedons recommends must be legit. He recommended Askibee, and that was were we made a big mistake. Askibee had us both fooled. Do business with Askibee, and I guarantee you this same fate

I contacted Askibee about providing Farmhelp, and Askibee said I will get him in 4 days max, little did I know that this was just a ploy to scam me off my money.

I made a down payment of 15K to Askibee, and that was when I started hearing different kinds of stories. I was given stories for 1 complete month.

More than 75% of my farm investments perished because of my patience with Askibee's stories and promises. My farm perished because there were times I had to conduct other businesses and leave the farm unattended (sometimes for a week), because I was hoping on this scammer and his stories.

Now, I have been asking him to refund my money, and I'll just forget about everything and move on. For more than a month now, he started another set of promises that he will return my 15K, I have still not gotten my refund.

This is me narrating my ordeal with that fraudster. I have no reason to come here and lay false allegations without legitimate cause.

Feel free to do business with him if you wish, you will get stories, be scammed and we would also read your ordeal here too.

This where I made the mistake of first speaking with this scammer before introducing him to someone who he later ended up scamming.

Please beware of this Askibee guy. He has no farm worker to give. He is a big time scammer and will only scam you of your hard earned money.

I have done several business with this guy and he has been very honest. I have recommended him to other people and none of them have complained. From helping get rice from the north, to Rams and goats.

This issue of labor is very sensitive. One has to be very careful, else you will be tagged a fraudster. At a point, I also helped people with getting workers but when I saw how dubious and evil these workers are, I had to pull out before I will innocently tarnish my image.

They will come to the farm only to run away after a week or month. Even the so called cotonou and benue workers aren't different. They are all the same

As regards refunding, it's not always easy cos the agent incur cost on their transportation fare, feeding, etc

You guys should try and sort things out. Dedons, pls leave police and EFCC out of this case. I beg you

You come in here to defend someone that has not uttered a single word in defence of himself. What does that tell you about such a person? I have details of this transaction (down to recordings of our calls), and even Askibee himself knows that I will publish everything if he comes here to lie. So he sent you to come and paint him as a saint?

You contacted me you needed worker we settled you even wanted sending money I told you let me get the guy ready, you told me you won't be in the farm by weekend and the guy I sent first time was waiting for you you in ibadan, when you got to the farm that morning the guy number didn't go true,I didn't hesitate to send you another replacement, the new one went and I didn't hear from him which all this I called you and I told you what's going on.

I even sent 3 pple that day two went to mowe till date they are there, I now told you to please exercise patient because what I promised is not being fulfilled I even asked you to please give me time.

We agreed on a said date and time unfortunately the guys got there late for the third time,yes we agreed that once the time elapse you will get another worker.

Now I told you I was going to refund you I have never for once told you I won't pay you,I never rejected your call I have called you myself to explain situations to you to exercise patience with me I will send the money to you

You asked for a week, I gave you more than a month to refund my money, I was very calm and civil with you even after you caused me to lose most of my investments - huge sum of money, I called and I texted you. So don't even come and play the victim.
