Their cargo services have recently become very shitty.

It's annoying that customer service becomes subpar for international companies when they deal with Nigeria. The can get away with almost anything

Two days ago I had to call US customs in Atlanta before I could get information about the status of my cargo because Delta wasn't giving any useful info. That's how shitty their services have become.

Profits are up though so I wonder why the shitty service. They just shared $1.6 billion to their employees.

The one thing that works is pulling your skymiles rank. Platinum medallion members have access to a dedicated phone line for service and support. The difference is sparkling clear between using regular customer service and the dedicated line. They will go the extra mile to make you happy

These appear to be good deals. Do these prices hold for US origination and are they direct or stopover in Europe? Economy comfort? I will add my patronage if so.

Yes I can get you that but that date is for October 2020 and I can get you Economy Comfort but won't be cheap. Yes for US Origination

emirates usually hv long stop overs in uae, with minimum being 9hrs grin. they used to lodge pax in hotels for layovers exceeding 8hrs, am unsure if such still happens

That does not happen with Emirates anymore, They do Dubai Connect now and there's eligibility rule to it. Some fares with long layover do not guarantee hotels for lay over.

I can't do long layovers. Time is always of the essence. I wish more airlines would join Delta in doing direct flights to/from Nigeria. They have a monopoly on that route and squeeze us for every penny cry

Delta should do better, we're one of their most important market in Africa.

Omo" I entered that trap last week from Minneapolis St Paul to Atlanata GA... Flight was booked at 56USD... On getting to the counter with my 2 boxes... I paid painfully additional 189USD for my laugages alone.... I almost cried...
Now I am considering going by road (Grayhound) to New York on my way back to the city of Traffic Jams...

Cheap ticket issues. LOL. I only try it within the US not for international flights. Imagine paying for luggage plus excess luggage. Cheap tickets also come with long layovers. Bargain de sweet sha.

True.... But you go gat transport yourself from JFK to LGA, that one na additional cost, person must factor those things in. But you see that their "first two checked in baggage free" policy? Na Bae! For inside America? I value am wella. Some 70-80 dollars saved if you are flying from a local wing of same airport you flew into, e.g LAX, LAS. Then LGA vs JFK, DAL vs DFW, HOU vs IAH, etc na somehow bad market. But I ain't using no SPIRIT, na laptop bag be their biggest free baggage allowance cheesy. Every other thing na black market price you go get am from dem!

N313,000 to Houston on Ethiopia and N345,000 on Emirates to New York

If you Originate and exit from Boston that price will shoot above 1300?

It depends on several other factors though. Many a time during search have I seen cheap return flights, if not cheaper flights, on Emirates, either coming into or originating from BOS.

Yes but since they reduce the flight to Boston to one daily flight, it's a bit expensive to fly to Boston with Emirates, I think the cheapest might be on Delta or Airfrance.

You won't get Emirates/ME/KLM treatment but surely above Royal Maroc although a little bit old plane from Icelandic Air grin

I think the stop over in Cape Verde is between 6-7 hours

Good pm sir and ma. I have been following this thread for long and I want to thank you guys for thr big job u r doing here. Pls, I'm about to travel to NC this month. My concern is I told VO I would be using 9 days for a b1 If, at the POE, I tell them I intend to spend 2 weeks to see around. If I go ahead and book for two weeks stay. If I change plans and want to use one more week in NC, will my flight ticket still valid. Because I believe I would have misSED my flight.

Pls very urgent as I'm about to find cheap flights.

Two weeks for 9 days isn't bad yet, 3 weeks is stretching it though. Depends on your ticket terms and conditions. If it's the type that allows for date change, you will mostly pay for date change and the fair difference if any, again, this depends on the ticket's terms and conditions....
