So, do you dress casually on official visits to civil service offices?

Mark Zuckerberg dressing down does not mean everyone else should dress.down.

Or you would like it if your banker or doctor or lawyer dressed anyhow when transacting business with you?

Zuckerberg or no Zuckerberg, dressing well still carries better influence
wetin you dey talk huh huh

See, dressing doesn't add to production, at least, not directly.

I'm a jean and whatever goes person, just do business with us and let others slide Biko, my abilities should be looked upon not my dressing.

If my appendix was about to burst the type of shirts my doctor wears would be the least of my concerns. Mark Zuckerberg illustrates that your value is isn't determined by what you wear but what you can give to people.

Right, dressing well in offices means Nigeria is a joke.

Okay, just wear a singlet and jeans on your next job or work since dressing well means Nigeria is a joke. wink
Base on logistics

You have deviated, are we their employee? you cant tell people what to wear in your business premises unless you are not ready for business. Its obvious they have lost focus.

Proper dressing for official business.

People tend to do business with someone who dresses well. Sorry, but that's the real world, not the fantasy that is Nairaland

Okay, if we don't open ourselves to freedom, we'll just close off nice and good stuff.

Interviews and presentation, I understand but regular day to day basis, please flow well, not tieing up yourself inside heat and no light.

You keep mentioning jobs as if everyone will seek employment in another man's establishment.

This is about their customers, those with company filings to do, registration, inquires etc that may be under the regular activities of CAC.

Ok if you have any serious business in a bank or hospital and the thing that bothers you the most is the workers wearing a t-shirt then I don't think you are there for serious business.

If Mark Zuckerberg walked into your place of work for an investment proposal would you turn him away for not dressing like a Hugo Boss model? As long as you are neat and the clothes aren't revealing I'm not going to put such shallow value judgements on others.

The problem with this new silly rule is that soon, someone will interpret appropriate attire to suit their individual, tribal, religious, and cultural understanding.

You just advocated that those who dress.properly show that Nigeria is a joke.

So,that means people like you mean that for Nigeria not to be a joke, people can dress anyhow on official business.

Including wearing singlet to work.

Don't deny it. Or maybe, perchance, you do believe in corporate dressing.

Dress well on official duty okay.? This is Nigeria, not your fantasy.

The relationship between a Lawyer and CAC is different from Lawyer and a Client.

It is the same reason banking halls, hospitals etc cannot introduce a dress code to their users. The lawyer's obligation is to the client not the CAC.
