The National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abuja erupted in jubilation on Thursday afternoon following the sack of All Progressives Congress candidate, David Lyon, as governor-elect of Bayelsa State by the Supreme Court.

Members of the PDP could not control their joy at the secretariat when news of the apex court’s ruling filtered in especially after the judges named the party’s candidate, Diri Duoye, as rightful winner of the exercise.

The court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to withdraw the certificate of return given to Lyon and issue a fresh one to the PDP candidate.

The ruling was done to make it appear as though supreme court is not partial. Its was done to appease the pdp and the international community. But the damage has already been done. Foreign organizations and companies will not come to a country that lacks independence judicial system. a system that can be manipulated by those in power. These people have ruined Nigeria and their reputation.

I am not a member of APC. Personally, I don't feel that APC is cheated. What happened is something common with most Nigerian - taking things for granted.

So my post is basically to highlight the negative attitude of PDP hiearachy in rejecting unfavourable court ruling as well as denigrating the Judges and then turning around to accept a favourable ruling from the same judges. It is a bit childish.

Lol, please if you don't understand how it works ask questions.
This is how it works all the votes gotten by APC is unlawful and won't be counted.
It will be deemed as if they never participated.
They were disqualified from start.
The party with the highest number of lawful votes cast and 25 Percent votes in two thirds of the local governments, will be declared winner, which if you checked you will see PDP got it.
