All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam (may Allaah exalt his mention) is His slave and Messenger.

The procedures for marriage in Islam are not complicated; rather, they are very simple. Three things are needed:

1. The consent of the bride’s guardian.
2. The presence of two witnesses.
3. A dowry (bridal money given by the groom to the bride). This can be payed before, during or after Nikaah.

The most important of them are the presence (and consent) of the guardian and the presence of two witnesses. The guardian marries off the female under his guardianship by saying something like: “I marry off my daughter [mentions her name] to you; and the husband or his representative says “I accept.” If two people witness this contract, then the marriage is concluded.

The marriage is valid even if it is not documented, but it is desirable to document it in order to confirm the marriage bond and preserve the rights.
Ibn Juzzay from the Maaliki School of jurisprudence said: the fifth issue: in the Chapter of dowry: it is not a condition [i.e. to document the marriage contract], but it is documented, as well as all other documents, in order to confirm the rights and avoid any conflicts.” [End of quote]

It should be noted that both the man and the woman should make the best choice in regard to their future life partner; most importantly, they should take into account the criteria of religion and good moral conduct in the spouse.

Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “A woman is married for four things: for her wealth, her family lineage, her beauty and her religion. So choose the religious one.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with him also narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “If a man proposes to you, whose religion and moral conduct are pleasing (i.e., good), then accept him (marry your daughter off to him); otherwise there will be great mischief and corruption on earth.” [Ibn Maajah]

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “There is no marriage except with a guardian and two trustworthy witnesses.” [At-Tirmithi and Abu Daawood]. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, also said: "Any woman who marries without the consent of her guardian, her marriage is void, her marriage is void, her marriage is void." [At-Tirmithi and Abu Daawood].

Allah knows best.

So in essence a marriage can be carried out among two witnesses, the bride's guardian and the groom.

The guardian just says the words and the groom responds! Marriage don done! Kalaas!

So simple but we trouble ourselves with customs, traditions, imitations and innovations!

This means we are not committing a sin if we f.ck each other without paying her dowry as long as her parents or guardian are aware that we are dating and they have accepted. Am I right or wrong? [

it is as simple as that.
if only we can follow the Islamic way instead of running into debts in the name of throwing the perfect wedding. some people even go the extent of collecting loans just to do wedding, some collect cows and other food items on credit. at the end nobody will give you an award for throwing the best wedding.

Nikkah has taken place if the conditions above are met, not dating as you called it. Once nikkah is knotted, alhamdulillah, they are free to have intimacy.

Nikaah is not marriage, its intercourse

In Islam, marriage is not restricted to a platonic relationship between husband and wife, nor is it solely for procreation. The Islamic term for marriage, “nikah” literally means sexual intercourse.

Inshaallah.
But why is it so difficult for a Muslim man to get a good Muslim wife.
What is the best method to apply to get a practicing Muslim lady?
I mean... A Muslim lady who has been attentive to the lessons of the deen. One who knows some aspects of the seerah, knows some hadith, recites the Quran, and dresses up properly.
How would you feel when your suitor cannot even narrate the hadith of Ka'ab ibn Malik? She doesn't know Kawlah bint Thalabah about whom Quran 58 was revealed. She just knows nothing about the tafseer. It doesn't feel interesting at all. I want a knowledgeable Muslim lady with the right Islamic upbringing. Where can I find one? Even if she doesn't have money and a job. I can fix her up. Just be the right person. Is it too much to ask?

What is the term for copulation and marriage in Jesus's language (since you are a mischievious Christian)?

And do you know what "word usage in a particular context mean"?

And stop quoting a Shiite website here.

Well, not all marriages in Islam needs witnesses.

According to Sahih Muslims Book 16 Hadith No 17

In Islam, if you see a lady you will like to have sex with, you can contracts a temporary marriage, and it doesn't need any witness.

You can spend 1, 2 or 3 days with her, depending how you want to satisfy your sexual desires with her.

Spoken consent of both parties is required. It's haraam to force a woman into a marriage she does not want.

May Allah Grant us spouses that will be the coolness of our eyes.

it's implied from the consent of her guardian. it's his responsibility to confirm from her before he gives her hand in marriage. in a Muslim marriage, the bride and groom need not be present; the bride has her guardian, the grom can have a representative.

Yes this true just as Abraham slept with his wife's slave in the Bible.

Can you sleep with your wife's slave today?

Such laws have been abrogated!

It's actually not only in the time of war.

During one of the war,
The Muslims went to meet Muhammad and told him of their sexual desires.

Muhammad quoted Quran Sura 5:87
Don't prohibit what Allah has made lawful to you.

and it was probably not in the time of war.

Read Sura 4:24
You will see clearly it has nothing to do with war, but the benefits was only extended to those who are in war front.

4:24 says
For whatever you enjoy of these women give them their due compensation.

No blame for what you mutually agree.

During the time of war,
No time for mutually agreement.
The women are taken into camptives and you have no option than to open your legs very very wide for sexual intercourse.
