Pls is ur Nigerian degree? What are the stages involved from when your sch responded to when your ECA comes out? My sch responded on the 24th of January, the status changed from on hold to processing new package or document for your application same day. Now I've been at that stage since then and it's three weeks today.

you can add the 6 months, it dosent need to be directly related to her NOC

Thank you for your response. But am reading on the cic website that the experience that counts has to be related to your NOC. Can I have your reference please?

And has anyone else done this i.e. adding a non - NOC related experience to accumulate total years experience required?

Hello house, I just entered the express entry pool. I checked dependents and only my husband is listed but not my child. Did I make a mistake while filling the profile? Shouldn't dependents show both my husband and child? Anyway to correct this? I plan to relocate with both husband and child

Once WES get a feedback from your school and they have all the documents needed, an estimated date for your report will be issued.

If you have a friend in Canada, you can send the soft copy of your certificate to them and plead with them to send it to WES with your reference number on the envelope. This option is cheaper and faster

Hello People,

Good morning. From what I understood, I thought I was only meant to evaluate my transcript. Attached is a response of what I got from WES saying they haven't received my degree certificate.

Am I to send that too?

Hello house,

Been waiting for ITA since October when scores went crazy. OINP came through yesterday and I'm going for it . The thing is my documents have been ready since last year and are addressed to CIC. Will these suffice or do I have to get the documents again addressed to Ontario specifically?

Also, the plan is to augment POF with 25% of my pension which I believe is acceptable for EE, PNP i'm not so sure. Anyone knows if OINP accepts pension as POF?

Ok thanks, but how long did it take to get the estimated day because today is three weeks since Wes got secondary verification from the sch and the status still reads we are processing a new document for your application

1. If the other 6 months is in NOC A, B or 0 and occurred within the last ten years, you can add it. There should be a continuous work period at of at least on year within the 2 yrs 9 mos work experience that she has.

2. You can redo if you add her work experience and points aren't enough, or if the 6 mos experience isn't within A, B or 0, or if you just want to grab extra points.

3. Yes

Hello house,

Good morning to all. Been a silent reader for some days now. I must confess that I joined Nairaland because of this thread few days ago.

I want to seek an advice from the more experienced please. Myself and my wife have done our ECA already and we have the reports with us. My IELTS results is L8 R6 S7.5 W8. Hers is L8 R9 S8 W7. We both have age on our side. I have about 6 years experience related to my NOC, she has about 2years 9 months related to her NOC while about 6 months not directly related. If I am the PA, our CRS is 422 due to the reading score in IELTS, if she is the PA, the CRS is 461 due to experience not up to 3 years in her NOC. We do not intend to go through the route of PNP. We want to explore EE squarely.

My questions?
1. Can we add the other 6 months experience as part of the 3 years required for her or it has to be strictly related to her NOC?

2. Do we advise that I re do my IELTS and aim for an higher score so that if I am the PA with a better results, our CRS will be around 480 thereabouts?

3. Can I open EP with her as the PA for now then decide to delete it later if we decide to use me as the new PA after my IELTS?

Thank you for your awaited responses.

I think you should redo Ielts. Your wife as PA with a 461 doesnt cut it in this current crs cutoff we see. Max out Ielts, 480 is a better score.

mine took 6 days after receiving from my school.
After receiving from school, it took them another 5 days to move to the next stage which was *we are analyzing and evaluating your documents*
the next day which makes the 6th day, it moves to *we are reviewing your evaluation* and they gave estimated date.

If the 6 months experience is in NOC A B or O, you can add it. Does she have NYSC experience ? Are the jobs within the last ten years? Job expérience can be in different NOCs.

Simulate your score with her 3 years experience. If the scores are high enough, You mat not need to rewrite IELTS.

Thank you. NYSC is part of the 3 years. With her 3 years, we are at 486 CRS score.

Good day All,

I have a question of concern to ask; can i claim 1yr 2 months for a job that spanned between Nov'10 - Dec'11 given that foreign work experience must be within last 10 years... Cus I've been confused for a while about this.

I will appreciate an answer with full insight on this.

Thanks. Wish you all the best too.

There's no issues with the documents addressed to CIC and dated last year.
the pension statement is fine too.. just ensure you get a detailed letter from your PFA. They would generally contact you if any document you submitted is not clear. Submit on time too, as processing may take up to four months..

Thank you so much

Wow, much cheaper in Lagos. I didn't pay jack for my wife and I... just our son.

The courier service is to send the passports for processing, and back to us in Port Harcourt, as we don't reside in Abuja/Lagos.

If you are picking up your passports yourself, then you'll not have to pay for courier.
