Congratulations to the shortlisted candidates for the job. Use this opportunity to reflect the lives of your loved ones and most importantly stay connected to God. Take this moment given to build a solid career path and impact the organisation in a positive way. The battle is a fierce one but you were among the lucky ones. Please help those who are in dare need of job should in case you are leaving your job. This is a token to help their circumstances. I know of someone who I couldn't help despite given him all the encouragement in this world. This is someone who is on debt because he borrowed T-fare to attend the interview. He is so heartbroken and at the lowest point of his life at the moment. It is well.

The address you put during your registration that is where the letter should go, the very first address they used in shortlisting you for CBT. It is of utmost importance they call you as they cannot hand over this package over to just anyone they find there, do expect a call, I myself have moved from the registered address... if you are called you just have to control whoever to where you are or ask him to give it to a trusted person
Alright, thanks bro. I hope they call.

Can admin close this thread now and let the EH hopefuls open another one? Just saying! angry

It is not a bad idea because most of our comments are lost in the haystack of comments from the GTs.

That said, I will advise that the thread be left opened for people who still want to get clarifications on one issue or the other.

Also, it will help those that did not get to heal slowly.

Nairaland will not even close a thread like this. It is one of their selling points....They need it to hang on for prospective customers to see.

Yea. Let's have a new thread for EH.

Someone should do us the honour. I am sure it's going to be a peaceful thread that is devoid of tantrums.

I love this thread. We learn lessons everyday. As a philosopher, I can’t ignore some pertinent things I have noticed. I remember when there was unity, and everyone prayed and clamoured for APL in unison. Even when some of us opposed those who came here with APL predictions (sauces), everyone united in attacking the people in return. Such unity is actually a good thing. However, APL has now come, but guess what? Everyone answered his father’s name, and fewer persons than the rest got the APL and came to express their joy and happiness. And it seems these ones will move on with their new lives without even looking back at the rest who didn’t get APL. One thing I noticed from most celebrations here was the absence of consolation to those who didn’t get APL. People just came here to thank ‘God’ in heaven, and some announced they knew nobody and attributed their success to God; one shared a picture of his roasted fish and Pepsi in celebration mood. Another, in happiness, even said he would give his first salary to God (I laugh because he is actually giving his hard-earned money to his pastor). But I must say this: majority of testimonies all reeked of ‘all man for himself’, without empathy to those who didn't succeed. I’m not exonerating those who did not get APL; if you guys (non-APL people) had gotten, you would have done the same thing too.

So what am I saying? This clearly shows us that in this life, the average man is self-centred and cares for no one but himself first and foremost. If the average man unites or acts in unity with others, the driving force for this is his personal gain—not others’ gain, but his. My heartfelt condolences to the GT applicants who did not make it, and of course, congrats to those who made it. I am EH, and I wish all EH, who will get and who will not get APLs, the best in their endeavours.

Kai! Nigerian pastors don chop from this one o! My brother, it is not your promise or vow that made you get APL. That salary is not being given to God but to your pastor or, let’s say, your church.. God does not need your money. Stop calling God’s name in vain.. Receive sense in Jesus name!

Wow, at last the tensed air regarding this recruitment has finally been cleared and everyone is at ease now. I'm really happy with this latest development and wish the successful ones a great career with NNPC.

I didn't scale past the CBT, I wouldn't have imagined how badly hurt I would be if I attended that interview without an apl. Imagine the opportunity, I can only imagine how the successful guys would feel right now. It's really difficult to stop thinking about it.

Best of luck to everyone.

What are you saying? , I have lots of friends who have not received, yea it is all man for himself but then if you got it congrats, if you didn’t this is not the time to console anybody as those who are still hopeful will take it that you have concluded that they didn’t make it and get mad at you, sorry is one word I hate to use in such situations, it’s bin, it has happened and it’s glaring so what the hell will sorry do to anyone right now? , I thank God for what he has done and I have spent majority of my time thinking about my friends, what is going on in their minds? , how do they feel?, I feel sorry but we all know everyone cannot get it, it is not the end tho nobody wants to hear that right now as this is the hope we all see, a lot will be bigger than this or at per in years to come... I know you are kind of a clout chaser still spreading that negetive vibe since the APL came out, which makes me wonder “what is even your problem”?... just let normal conversation continue please and I won’t reply you again.

Even after your APL, you are still coming here to attack me for a harmless philosophical post. You’re a mor@n. Just face your front and carry your face & your APL to Towers. If you say you don’t like to use the word sorry, so what word will you use to comfort someone who is down? You said you feel for your friends who didn’t make, but if you don’t tell them, how will they know your thoughts? Stop sounding asinine.

Congratulations to successful GTs, always remember to put humanity first. Do something great with what you have been armed with.

For those who didn't get it, this was an attractive door, but it seems closed for you, continue walking down the corridor, you may be shocked how many more attractive doors await you.

As for the EHs, our watch continues.

Alhamdulillah congratulations to those who got the success mail, I suggest those who got the mail should also give their testimonies without knowing anyone on the NNPC twitter page to motivate them to do more and challenge other Federal Agencies and Parastatals to do the same when recruiting..

Your premise is valid, but your conclusion is atleast very silly. It is like saying celebrating victory is a selfishness.
