As reported by @mubarak_umar, a young lady in Gaide town of Bauchi state resorted to election results to chose a spouse after she fell in love with two boys and couldn't make up her mind who to settle for.

The maiden, Khadija involved the elders of Gaide town to organize an election between her two lovers; Inusa and Ibrahim. The election was conducted peacefully and Inusa defeated Ibrahim and got his 'certificate of return' issued to him.
