Is okinrin also okinrin in English Language?
Okinrin means thorns in English but there’s an insect called okunrun in Yoruba which is translated to millipede or centipede in English.

If I don't know the names of those animals in Yorùbá, that of cheetah will make me to disagree with you. Ọwáwa is not cheetah. Ọwáwa only move at night. And cry like a dog while cheetah cry like cat.

Incorrect
Toad Àkèré (Akee)
Frog Opolo
You don't eat Opolo (frog), even this forthcoming Yoruba proverb proves it. Bi Aba mu Opolo tio jo Kònkò, aa juule ni"
This is a toad and it’s inedible.

The one in the second pic is a frog which is the one we eat.

Toad is the one most of us referred to as frog which is incorrect because the one which we eat is the one that’s a frog.

That’s ofafa (rock hyrax or hyrax) which is different from owawa.

Ofafa barks like a dog and can climb trees with adhesive pad soles even without claws and it’s closely related to the elephant.

Inferiority complex is disturbing you.
Bini is incomplete without Yoruba.

Yoruba doesn't even know Bini exists.

How would they know when most Yoruba's are still iliterate and all they do is go to the nearest coco farms till they die ,yorubas who cant even speak pidgin or English ,its just a little gap that makes yoruba and hausa different in Nigeria both are ridiculed with poverty states

Modify...

Lol,who cares if Yoruba dont know we exist

Everyone reads our history outside the shores of nigeria
We are visibly recognized internationally for our sophisticated history and artworks

Nigeria practise the left over of our history

A country took upon the name of the great empire

Our food egusi and pounded yam is a general delicacy in nigeria

The nigeria attire is not complete until you wear the Benin red coral beads

Lets not go deep about how our culture as eaten deep in Yoruba history

If Nigeria was to divide today we will survive on our own and also decide to ecompass Yoruba's amongst us since they had always been under the Benin rule

That statement you made up there simply arosed from bigoted pride..and nothing truthful about it

If you can tell me what the yorubas had used to surpass edo in the past and present
Then i will take you serious untill then
All you said was formed from lies

Nope cheetah is owawa while Ekun or Amotekun is leopard but since the introduction of the tiger to yorubas came around, Ekùn or Ogidan became a name for the tiger.

let me add this, jaguar is a rugged cat family that can climb a tree to get it prey unlike the tiger that can not, mind you sometimes native of yoruba uses the name for terrible humans like thieves, buglars because of the ruggedity.
