Do you have money to change the screen of your S9 if it get broken ? If yes go for S9 and of No go for IPhone 8+

You’re right about the S9+ plus’ display abs design being better; but battery, audio and camera are better on the iPhone 8+

For real value for money, customisation and better display go for s9+
For class, security, faster updates and second hand value , go for iphone 8 plus

Overall they both ve great cameras, with each better than d other in diff camera features

The s9 has an audio jack, with 32bit audio, tuned by akg.
Bluetooth audio or iphone usb jack, can never sound as great as audio jack.. the iphone external speaker may be better tho..aside that nothing else

About the iPhone 8+ not having an audio jack, it still does better job than the s9 plus. Dolby Atmos works better on the 8+, even with the lightening headphones.

About the camera, the 8+ has a better dept of field (portrait) effect than the S9+. There’s a better edge detection, with even stage light effect on the 8+ - a feature not present on the Samsung S9+. Camera started getting better on the S10 series.

Battery wise, with iPhones, it’s not about how many MAh it carries. Don’t be surprised when you see an iPhone with 2500mah outperforming an android device with 3500mah battery.

Apple did well optimizing the iOS to manage active apps and reduce heat while using the device. Since heat is minimal, battery consumption is also lower compared to an android device with a “bigger” battery.

About the battery, back then, my iPhone X almost had same SOT with my Huawei P20 Pro. I used both devices at the same time and compared them side-by-side

Nice argument I would also like to chip in that in the camera department there are trade off iPhone 8 has a better portrait mode however the S9+ the S9 is king in night shot and would snap clear photos without flash even the almighty iPhone X does not have a better night camera than the S9+

I use the S9 too..go for gold or add small money and buy a S10 lol, thier A series is good too (from A70 up) if you're on a budget , you get an upgrade in camera quality and battery likewise

Am currently using iphone 8+ and its going to a year.
Got it last year july, the battery is a bad ass, as in very strong that I charge in the morning and its � percent, I go to work come back in the evening around 8 and its still in 35 percent... the camera is so clear that am d official photographer in occasions and parties, plus I use it to edit my projects, print on it, do most of Premiums MS applications on it and I can do shakara do...am enjoying it and am not ready to upgrade my phone until next year

OP, I always thought samsung was good till I switched to apple devices. Trust me you would always be happy you made the right choice switching.
