Many protesters have stormed the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress to demand the sack of the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole.

The protesters under the aegis of the APC Young Stakeholders stormed the party headquarters at 11:00am.



They carried various placards with inscriptions such as ‘Oshiomhole Must Go’, ‘Oshiomhole go home’, and ‘We are tired of loosing’ among others.

One of the leaders of the protesters, Mathias Omikpa, said the APC young stakeholders were tired of recording reversals of their victories on account of alleged tardiness of the party chairman.

He said, “It is time for Oshiomhole to go, we are tired of this downward trend. The National Chairman has brought nothing but misfortunes to our party from Zamfara to Rivers now Bayelsa. We are calling on President Muhammadu Buhari and National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, to intervene

Oshiomole's high-handedness is the reason why APC lost Rivers, Zamfara, Bayelsa and might likely lose Edo State.

Stop calling Tinubu....

Call on Buhari, El-rufai and other governors to facilitate his removal..... call on active members who want him out and not those who want him to be doing their bidding thereby causing losses for the APC of a party.

Protest can't remove someone like oshomhole from office. He ruled edo with protests for 8yrs.
Stop wasting time guys.

oshiomhole is not the problem of the party, politicians in the party are. Buhari knowing fully well that some of these men would listen to him more that they would with oshiomhole won't call them so as not to be seen to be interferring in their legitimate struggle for political power. In fact, he asked aggrieved members to go to court.
It was magnus Abe that took APC to court in rivers state cos he and Amaechi won't give. Kabiru marafa was the reason apc lost everything in zamfara because of yari's greed. Oshio stood against yari then and yari threaten to beat him up. He said rochas should cede 40 percent of the party structure to those who decamped from pdp , rochas refused citing a good reason why he won't do that.
Buhari supported 2 candidates both in imo and ogun state. You all remember how amosun shot himself by adopting a consensus candidate and later changed the mode of the primary when the earlier one failed him.
How can you provide leadership to a typical nigerian who's always selfish and rather have it his way or he destroys everything? Did oshiomhole pick the deputy lyon in bayelsa state ? How is he the only problem of the party?

What is wrong with these people?
Osho Omo Ole is going nowhere. The good work he has started, he must complete.
Edo State is next to be lost.
Then Ondo State.
Before we can even start thinking of whether to retain him or not.

These are paid protesters. Oshiomole remains the APC chairman. Whoever is pained, should locate the nearest transformer.
