Agreed.... maybe our reaction can control their actions a bit. I mean by showing indifference.

For sure. That's the best we can do. Whining and crying about there abuse on you would only highlight how effective their actions are at hurting you and that's needed to fuel their zest at continuous taunting.

I warned you PSG. I warned you about Dortmund with a Haaland as their Arrowhead. They can hurt you now. The likes of Sancho, Hazard, and co now have a target man to feed for fun plus he is a poacher. Chaaiiii. Well, my wish to see PSG knocked out by Dortmund is one leg away. cool

I recall your post ahead of this Dortmund vs PSG game very well indeed. I was just waiting for this day to come to test your analyses of both teams which you dropped weeks ago before today and I can further confirm that indeed, Nerdie, you Sabi Ball abeg! You know your onions. This is just part of why I rate you so much on this thread alongside a few others like TheGoodjoe. You know your stuffs.
I remember you stated without mincing words that Haaland could be the huge difference for Dortmund in this tie against the mighty PSG. And this was even after you affirmed that Osimhen is not inferior to Haaland in anyway. You stood your ground on that Osimhen/Haaland discussion and still went on to kind of predict a tough game for PSG because of how different Dortmund will look with Haaland as their new Arrowhead. You did this because you clearly rate Haaland highly but also won't succumb to popular chants of Haaland because you also clearly rate Osimhen highly. You rate both lads highly and have obviously seen enough of them to support your stance on that debate on they being at par at best right now. I can see it is not patriotism at play. It is simply your football know-how at work. You Sabi abeg!
Shout out to others like Icon4s, Andrew, Safarigirl, Charlesemeka, Chriskels, BascoVanVeli and a few more. Una dey try abeg. Carry on Biko.

Abeg ooo... I am not comparing their star quality. I am just stating that Dortmund have enough in their ranks to finish this job. They create chances upon chances and just need that finisher to bury them. Haaland is that guy.

When it comes to star quality, PSG trumps them hands down naa. Everyone knows that.

PSG missing Menieur and Veratti in the second leg. Not gonna be a good second leg from where I stand for PSG even at home. In the end, I want PSG out. Hope this away goal doesn't come back to haunt Dortmund.

As for Liverpool... No shots on target. Like hell! Danielnino00 come and explain yourself! angry

Atletico are always a tough team to play against. Everybody knows that...
I think Klopp goofed by not starting either of Keira or Chamberlain.. they would have added the needed creativity to the midfield...the combo of Hendo,Fabinho and Wijnaldum is very useful when u wanna give the fullback some freedom up front..but in this case,we should have fell back to the midfield for creativity... atletico kept Robertson and Trent at bay all night...

It's a disappointing result, but it's nothing to worry about... Klopp has never loss a two legged European game since he took charge of Liverpool. So I'm confident we will scale through.. grin

Finally a human being to discuss football with and not someone who is badly obsessed with me and boast zero thinking level. grin

Ehen, Dan. I noticed that in that first half, Liverpool tried launching most of their attacks through Mane's side. The wing where Vrsaljko (hope I got his name right) operates as Atletico's RB. Is it that they considered that area a weakspot for Simeone's men compared to Lodi's side? And Trent on about three or two occasions tried to catch Oblak off his lines. Na wa ooo... Liverpool's strategy today that yielded no shots on target all game was really strange.

I sure hope you are right shaa. Klopp and his men better turn this around. I am rooting for you guys. wink

Simeone's plan was simple .. Block us off on the flank... It worked because most of our attack always come from the flank..
To be honest, I expected Atletico to be defensive minded but not like this..it was like they built a Jericho wall there..and we didn't have a Joshua to help us wreck it.. cheesy
I believe that if Klopp had started one of Keita or Chamberlain, we could have gotten at least a shot on target... Mane getting subbed off at half time was another issue..

But no worries mate, we won't disappoint u cheesy. Anfield is where things happen... cheesy

The statistics look lovely, and I was almostt convinced by it, but after watching the game, Haaland is not better than Osimhen.

Man can't create to save his life. He was anonymous for 60 minutes, at the first half the analysts admitted he was scarce and even the commentators made the same observation.

Jadon Sancho, Axel Witsel, Achraf Hakimi, Emre Can and Thorgan Hazard are really the life force of that Dortmund team.

Haaland just waits at the goal post for one of them to do something, so he can collect the glory.

Osimhen, exploits more ground and is certainly an all round better forward.

The Stats are much prettier than the full story.

You know your football dear Safarigirl. Not for this post ofcourse. You have always known your stuffs. Well said. We saw Osimhen without goals and assists and he was still reckoned and a threat! We saw Haaland without the goals and assists and we saw how useless he was. No disrespect to any lad but both are special in their own ways but it is clear Osimhen is the better and more rounded centre forward. He is a goals machine and a monster that will worry any defence! Haaland is only a goals machine. And I love them both. That's the whole story. cool

Afraid to say my name, Mr Coward Zero? Being the coward you accuse others to be now ehn... Lol...

And ofcos I love Haaland. And Nope... I am not his number 1 fan silly. Is your brain this Zerofied? Lol

And no, what matters for a striker goes beyond the goals he scores. His ability to create when not scoring is another factor checked and his ability to contribute to plays that also affects the results for his team when not scoring nor assisting is yet another factor checked. But you won't see that bcoz your zero head only looks at shallow ways of analysing football.

You need an upgrade Zero. You need to learn how to see the game from a more holistic view. But ofcos, I doubt you are capable of that. grin

I will rather go for a striker that boast the best of both worlds. Hardworking and a super finisher of chances. That guy is Osimhen.

For finishing chances alone, Haaland like you've said. wink

But for both Finishing chances and providing more depth to the role by putting in more hardwork for your team... Osimhen is the man indeed. cool
