Abia State have a serious problem with the elected and electorates, they are all careless with what they want. In the last election, I was opportuned to work under uche ogah, That man is so humble and kind that he wanted to revolutionize Abia State, he solely sponsored his campaign meaning he had no godfather, he was very honest in his manifestos but do you know what happened, the pdp candidate is just a stooge for some cabal who doesn't want the progress of Abia State, And do you know his campaign Moto, equity and justice, as in the government seat goes round the local government and it is the turn of ngwá people, meaning if the governor is not doing anything he should be voted cos it has reached the turn of a particular local government to rule.
Damn! Abia is in trouble, they even owe their workers but still they'll vote in the person that won't do anything for them maybe cos during campaign he gave them 4 litres of kerosene or five hundred naira

No sympathy - they should all suffer the mal governance in that state. They had the opportunity to elect a technocrat in the person of Dr. Alex Otti and chose to elect the the kerosene distributor. Election has consequences and the consequences are what all of them are seeing.

The same way we elect charlatans in the federal government and expect miracle to happen, you are deceiving yourself. You will end up electing charlatans and come back behind computer to be abusing them.

So, Chinese has started taking Nigeria for granted? Shame!

We are unfortunate to have bad leaders in Abia state. Next election we will vote out PDP in Abia. They are really doing nothing.

So now the number of flyovers in a State is a form of achievement? ... my State has more flyovers than yours so my State is better?...more advanced?...more modern? More likely it is the same mentality that made it necessary for Aba to build a flyover rather than a proper road.... at least they can boast about a world class flyover... flying over a guttery main road.
I don't understand why people always blaming the governor. Should the best governor in the country run against Ikpeazu... after sharing maybe free bread from Shop Rite... why wouldn't they vote Ikpeazu right back in? Abians voted to live in misery and there is nothing we can do about that.

After 5 Years, The Only Flyover Being Constructed in Abia State is still on under construction. Aside FLYOVER brouhaha, there's hardly any motorable road in Abia state.

Uyo City in Akwa Ibom alone has more than five flyovers. Abakiliki of yesterday is having her 2 and 3rd flyover constructed. Port Harcourt, Owerri, Onitsha, Asaba, Awka and Enugu are not left out. Even Ibadan, Kano, Abeokuta, etc.They have their own flyovers well built and in good condition.

But the converse is the case in that of Abia State. The only centre table, pardon, flyover under construction is still a shadow of itself. Grim, shabby and abandoned.

The ground breaking of the construction of Osisioma Flyover in Aba was held by the state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazụ, 5 years ago. The Flyover which we believe upon completion will ensure seamless vehicular and pedestrian movement around the ever busy Osisioma Ngwa Junction which serves as the entering point into the city of Aba.

However, after 5 years of construction, the flyover being handled by a Chinese construction giant is now a centre table where rats and other communities of rodents gambol about in glee.

The most embarrassing aspect of this is that the Aba flyover is the only flyover in the whole of Abia State. God have mercy!
