Abia state will continue to be the worst state in Nigeria until Abia people take back their state from the gang of Orjis that is holding the state by the jugular

These are the people that made Abia state the shithole of Nigeria. They looted everything and left the state a dungeon

you are just reinforcing my point!!!!! that picture is ph road not ohanku .you guys don't live nor travel to Aba but, once una enter nairaland Aba becomes your family town. Drainage work on that road has been completed on that road (to become a 6 lane road). Granted the guy is slow in his project execution but rebuilding Aba is so happening. Below are pics from construction of roads in Aba this year whenever am in aba, I would upload the true state of the osisioma flyover on this thread just to show how mischevious some of you are

Thank you very much. They know what they are doing. The truth is that Aba needs to be demolished and rebuilt from the scratch. If not it is a waste of time.

Wow, surprised they've gone that far. The first tenure it was something like one foundation per year and folks just avoided the place like a plague choosing instead to 'fly over' to Portharcourt from Umuahia.

The infrastructural deficit in Abia State is mind boggling. And for a State that is the headquarters of cottage industries in Nigeria, this is just heart breaking. A lot of business I would have done the past few years. No way. Congestion everyehere. When the rains come its a calamity.

Abia's problem is poor urban planning and lack of will to force environmental laws and discipline.

It's second problem is that despite the abundance of cottage industries, many of them do not pay tax. Without taxation, the govt is unable to get adequate revenue to provide proper infrastructure.

Abia people voted for Otti. You dont seem to understand how devious the people we are talking about are. They have so rigged INEC in the state that even if Otti wins 90% of the vote, INEC will declare the candidate of the Orji family winner regardless.

Abia needs federal intervention ASAP. The state newspapers and radio stations did not even dare mention the news of T.A. Orji and his son looting the state dry. They are completely bought off and muzzled.

The folks that control Abia act with so much impunity because they dont see how anybody can disrupt the deadly stranglehold they have on the state

After 5 Years, The Only Flyover Being Constructed in Abia State is still on under construction. Aside FLYOVER brouhaha, there's hardly any motorable road in Abia state.

Uyo City in Akwa Ibom alone has more than five flyovers. Abakiliki of yesterday is having her 2 and 3rd flyover constructed. Port Harcourt, Owerri, Onitsha, Asaba, Awka and Enugu are not left out. Even Ibadan, Kano, Abeokuta, etc.They have their own flyovers well built and in good condition.

But the converse is the case in that of Abia State. The only centre table, pardon, flyover under construction is still a shadow of itself. Grim, shabby and abandoned.

The ground breaking of the construction of Osisioma Flyover in Aba was held by the state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazụ, 5 years ago. The Flyover which we believe upon completion will ensure seamless vehicular and pedestrian movement around the ever busy Osisioma Ngwa Junction which serves as the entering point into the city of Aba.

However, after 5 years of construction, the flyover being handled by a Chinese construction giant is now a centre table where rats and other communities of rodents gambol about in glee.

The most embarrassing aspect of this is that the Aba flyover is the only flyover in the whole of Abia State. God have mercy!
