So for over 20 years now, Nigeria hasn't won the CAF Player of the year? What happened to our men?

I hope they recognize players on African soil too.

Okocha is simply overrated player. So you guys should stop mentioning his name. His total career goals is not up to Kanu's highest season goals in one season. He got excellent entertaining skills but naturally non serious player like the listed fours

I bet you didn't know he bettered Mustapha Hadji in 1998 but was robbed. I also guess you didn't know he was signed by PSG for 16 million dollars that same year.

Your head get oil. There was a year he bettered Eto o even. He won BBC player of the year award but the francophone bias made the Caf awards go to Eto o that same year.

BBC awarded him best player in Africa but the Issa Ayatou led Caf gave it to Mustapha Hadji. In 2004, okocha led Bolton, a bottom club to their best ever position in EPL 8th, took them to the finals of EFL cup, he won the mvp and joint top scorer in Tunisia 2004 but Caf had to deny him once again and awarded it to Eto'o whom Okocha single handedly oust at the nation's cup Q/finals, didn't win anything in 2004 but newly joined Barca.
