Abeg which kind lie be this, so he took the woman phone thinking it was his phone. So the guy and the woman uses the same phone? Nawa oooo What a country of Lai Mohammed |

priceaction: The state has collapsed. My guess is that it happened all the way back in 1986 with the IBB doctrine of "settlement". Since then it has been a slow race to the bottom. There are two laws and two nations. One for the rich or connected and one for others. In addition everything has been privatised. To get good service you need to pay. Do not be surprised if the police "guarded the area of operations" until the murder was finalized. Everything has a price. Even the murder of the innocent. The average Nigerian has seen through the sham of state and his goal is to make enough money to set up his own mini state comprising "settled" bankers, judges, lastma officials, police, soldiers, etc. For "the romantics" who still believe in the state, theirs is a life of denial and inner pain. There is another group - let us call them the "the enraged" who are angry but poor - they come online to abuse the state and finally there "the strategists" who are calmly saving their emotional energy and coldly planning their escape. I knew that this womans death was a privatised murder. For those who wonder why I cut the President slack. Let me say this - any President of Nigeria will soon learn the limits of his power. He or she may have respect and access to untold riches but they do not hold real power. Power rests in those who can pay and those in sufficiently high enough positions to be paid. Everyone in between is a low or high category victim. The only person that cannot be cheated is death and the judgement afterwards. But because it our habit to venerate the dead and whitewash their reputations, in Nigeria, there is little judgement against the evil on this side of eternity. Modified for errors 1 Like |

That is why it is good to have someone else in your life. This is a classic case of the dangers of a lady without companionship. Elementary mistakes that in this case proved deadly. There is nothing like having a second opinion and caution when certain decisions are taken and the fact that seeing her vulnerable made it all the easier for the felons. Secondly another revelation from this incident is that those high up in leadership and government are completely detached from the reality of state of the nation, in this case, the spiralling crime wave and the failings of the security and law enforcement structure in the country. Two things. She wanted to 'move away' to detach herself, to escape from the reality that is the abundance of our youth engaging in anti social vices because the nation has failed them. Secondly reporting to the police she thought was engaging a responsible, professional organisation because at her level that is what the propaganda says. But if her world was in the reality of street level Nigeria the last thing a vulnerable person would do is to report a group of potential murderers to the police. What did she expect wil happen. Why did she think criminals get lynched when caught. The common man lnows the police is a quasi-failed organisation known for aiding and abetting ctiminals. Unfortunately she didn't. 2 Likes |

The story is very correct the deceased stays a street after my Street in Efab Estate, She moved into the BQ of the house in November while the Yahoo boys moved into the main house in December. She reported them to the Police during the festive period and the police came around to make arrest but they later paid the police to tell them who snitched on them and the police told them it was the woman. They now killed her on Monday and wanted to set the body and the room ablaze so that it will seem that the house was burnt. Neighbors around came around to quench the fire only to discover that the womans body was tied, before they could raise alarm the boys drove off and left all their belongings in the house 4 Likes 1 Share |

speedy23:Thank you for this info. Unfortunately we have a lot of Nigerians who can read and write but cannot think. Why will Kyari or Monguno kill a lady for leaking a document when they can easily get her arrested and jailed for gross misconduct and abuse of trust. Not like they really care what the public thinks about them anyway. The way our people think just shows why we can choose a buhari as our leaders. No rationale or logic in their thoughts!! |
