How was Egypt Air. I am planning on using them. Any baggage issues or seizing of particular items?

hayoakins:
LANDING GIST

I flew EgytAir and got to the airport by 10am for a 12:45pm flight. I had just a check-in bag and one backpack.
I had cereal and coco balls in the check-in bag to keep me for the 3days should incase I couldn't find nice food. I emptied it into ziplock nylon and had no issues.

GOD bless Canada and Nigeria

Go and register in Sask's expression of interest.. since you've a sibling there, your score should be enough to get ITA in the next draw..

Please someone should help with the process of obtaining law school transcripts. Plus if anyone has a contact at the abuja law school that could help speed up the process. Please help.

I traveled light but my electric extension box was trashed at Cairo airport, I had it in my backpack. I should have just checked it in.

Well, during the long stopover; it made me a superstar as several nationals were able to charge with it before it was trashed prior to boarding. It felt good to have been able to help others grin

I forgot to state in my gist that we were further delayed by two (2) hours in Cairo only to compensate us with small juice can and bottle water.

Na so I stood for one aged black woman (perhaps a Nigerian Canadian) inside the intra-airport conveying bus to sit, I got a nonchalant "Don't worry"/snub. I doubt if I will do that again except here in Nigeria.

EgyptAir tends to be a cheaper option for Lagos to Toronto flight but expensive for Lagos to Calgary when compared with Ethiopian Airline.

Btw, no free Wifi at Cairo airport as at November 2019.

done

I did three (3) days ago, it bounced back. You may want to ask your question here

Everygirl:
It's not going yet. I have checked the requirements for Ontario and Alberta, I have downloaded the forms.

But I have not really moved forward from there, lol.

Maybe I will work on it this week

Oh great.

Please ensure you pay attention to this Ontario requirement below;

Two Referee Recommendations.
Reference forms must be completed on your behalf by individuals who are members of a Canadian provincial CPA body or CPA Bermuda. References must have known you for longer than one year and must not be related to you.

If you cannot meet this requirement, you may want to explore other provinces. No time to waste time
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by Newbeecey: 5:51am On Feb 21, 2020
@everygirl, this should however not be an issue since you can get the reference from CPA in different provinces; that is what i did

If you're on a PR or student visa, you should have no problems traveling with a one way ticket.

How can I get an health care giver or health care support job in Canada while I’m still processing my registration as a Canadian Registered Nurse which usually takes a few years.

Are there any specific requirements for the home care giver or assistant job?

if you move to a big city (like top 4 biggest city in each province), you would most likely need an health care aide (HCA) certificate. It's around 3 to 6 months to get one from a community college. If you move to a small city, lots of employers would waive the HCA certification requirements.

The reason i will not stop flying British Airways. Small delay the last time fom Nigeria, we were put in an hotel with better dinner, breakfast and transport to hotel.

On top of that, once i got back to Nigeria, i wrote them a letter on my rights and i was paid 600 euros without any delay. The extra fare is usually worth the trouble.

Small cities like where please? Haven’t really decided what province or city to move to so this information might help me decide.
