Elock1:This is hilarious. What is the history behind Nollywood? Read about Bollywood and you will understand why Bombay became tied with Hollywood to become Bollywood. |

Yujin:That shows their lack of creativity! Everything is wrong with that. It shows how for the most part, Nigerians are mentally lazy. |

BluntBoy:Good sir, our history must not be tied to hollywood before accepting that there's a history U are really not even getying my point... At this point We should be talking about the way forward and not names to use |

Elock1:No one is denying that we need to move forward, but it doesn't mean we should not mention that name. All of the Indian film industries, including Bollywood, are fast moving forward, since many American film studios now have offices in India, and the government is heavily invested in the industries, but still producers and film makers still condemn the name Bollywood because they say it makes them feel like a subsidiary of Hollywood. Bollywood came about at the time when the Indian cinema based in Bombay (now Mumbai) was giving Hollywood a competition for their money, and so some gossip journalist replaced "Holly" with "Bolly" (Bombay). Till today, many producers don't even like it. And that is what Dejumo Lewis is doing too. A name is not insignificant as you want me to believe. A name is just as important. |

CeterisXVII:Brother, have u noticed that respect for older ones is no more a virtue among the teens n youth of today? No wonder certain favours are alien to them n achievement only comes to them via vices n ways that morality frowns at. |

The way you have redefined the word, "insult," says a lot about your capacity for critical thinking.

|
