What if a four year old got lost in Lekki? A four year old can still be classified as a toddler in some countries. They should always have adult company at all times. That's the issue and not the area. we should stop making excuses and face the real problem here. In America or the UK would a responsible parent leave a four year old to go a couple of blocks on their own. The answer is No.

Am scared to imagine the scenario playing out in the mother's mind now, it's so painful and why would someone want to hurt or harm such beautiful and innocent girl but still her mother made some mistake, for Christ sake, she is just 4 and you are sending her on this kind of errands by herself knowing how bad your vicinity is by this time. The mother could have called the hair dresser or the apprentice to come pick up the girl from home, nobody will refuse since she is physically challenged and most people will pity her. Am really sad at this kind of news, it's both sad and depressing.

The report say the mother is physically challenged. Maybe the mother is blind or had some form of disability.
Don't be surprised if the mother depends on her, as small as she is, to do some basic things.
