Fellow Canadians, please o, for NYSC, under annual salary, am I to state the Allowee just for the state or Federal? Or am I to combine the both? Thanks, needed asap!!!!

it doesn't really matter as long as you were paid and it states the amount in the ref letter. You could combine both allawee. I did that in my case and it worked fine.

Thank you for responding, this is very encouraging. Those looking for a second degree (two or more degrees) please take note.
Find the CIMA thread here.

I don't have any background in accounting but it took a lot of back to back studying. It took me 2 months. CIMA is not so bad if you're determined. Materials for study are available in the CIMA thread.

This has got to be the best thing I am seeing today...Plz even if you leave for Canada, don't blank out on this page, become a pathfinder, lend a hand, drop comments, even if you can help someone pay his Wes fee or even IELTS(Plz I am just suggesting)..We all know the reason we are embarking on this journey is to give ourselves and our next generation a better Life/Platform..Indians understand this concept well and that is why they Flourish in Canada..A friend of mine got nominated by Manitoba and he needed a Sponsorship letter from someone in that Province, connected with a Nigerian there and the dude was asking for 3million(He lost the nomination)..Almost 90% of people here use gift deed for POF, it can only mean one thing WE CAN'T AFFORD THE POF ON OUR OWN..Plz let our Mindset change..The enemy is POVERTY not your fellow Brother/Sister..

What you are suggesting on a public forum is fraud o. The Manitoba person is in no way related to the PR seeker hence the Manitoban demanding money.

If you can't afford POF on your own or with the help of family and friends, how will you survive if you don't land a job immediately?

Please stop suggesting ways of gaming the system in a public forum.

Finally got ITA yesterday.
Thanks to all who have help in reaching this level.

But here is another issue. I just realised after my half bro had sent me his documents that:

1. the spelling of his middle name on his birth cert and his PR card and passport are not the same.

2. The arrangement of the given names on the birth cert and passport was altered.

3. The spelling of our Dad's first name on his birth cert and mine are not the same

4.The name used on his bills is the shorten ie AB while ABC is on his other document.

5.The year of the expiring date of his PR card says 18 does that mean the card has expired?

Please seniors what should I do

Canada is for hardworking individuals like some Nigerians, so when I say its flowing with milk and honey, i mean it for people who are ready to work. I lived in Newfoundland for more than a year but moved to Victoria, BC because of the weather and it's been amazing. I have spent almost 3 years in Victoria.

About 4 days after the counterfoil appears on your CIC profile (you’ll get an update mail), then call the VFS customer care, you’ll be asked for your tracking number and they’ll confirm whether it’s ready for pick up. You may not get a text.

Hello house,

So I got an invitation to apply for provincial nomination in the OINP draw that took place last Thursday. Now my dilemma is based on today's draw of 470, is it advisable to go ahead to apply for the provincial nomination or just wait for the EE draw to come down further.

PS- CRS Score is 469

Also I have 45 days to apply for the nomination which started counting last week.

Thanks
You have a pretty good score. I advise you wait for the next two draws before making any decision. However, start gathering your documents. My advice

Suggesting it's a land flowing with milk and honey is ok..but tell them not really..you have to work your ass off sometimes doing 2 jobs to pay your bills for probably the first 6 months to 1 year upon arrival before you get a job that you would love in your field thats if it doesn't take longer with your no Canadian experience nor Canadian academic qualifications.

That's not a milk and honey situation..So don't paint an easy rosy situation for newcomers tell them the truth..it ain't really easy. Infact you work more in Canada than you did in 9ja sometimes you will have to pick up Saturday or Sunday shift. Then you will know how far..but it is well.

Good morning everyone, please i have a little issue, I already have more than the required POF in my account

Just this morning, I wasnt expecting any money, but I woke up I saw an alert of 8K in my POF account,

Please Is it okay to withdraw the money?
Or should I just leave it there?
If I withdraw the money will it affect my application?

I'm sorry for the question, I'm just confused

Thank you in advance for your reply

I'm not an expert on this EE thing but what I know for sure is, it doesn't affect closing balance and opening balance, the remaining money is what they're after
