Good evening sabi mamas...pls at what point should one be worried that the bcg didn’t scar? My DD had her bcg last week Friday and this is the 5th day after, still no scar. Should I take her back for vaccinations or wait for how long? Tnx mama

6 months or so. The scars don't show up fast like that i guess. Because for my son it took a while too. Was even worried when i saw something like boil way after i have forgotten we took bcg sef. But you might want to ask those nurses on your next appointment to be sure

Some people are like that ma,I have a friend who visited me two days after CS in the hospital and throughout her 1hour stay all she talked about was my tummy and my look.
I ignored her because she does not have a child yet.

Toh! They know the kind of people they try that with. I can forgive/ignore curious kids and teenagers but not a grown adult, I would have asked her to leave if I didn’t have the strength to call her out on her behavior

Good mornings dear, u c ehn... Dis reflux of a tin is frustrating,... My son used 2 hv it but it stopped.... Everytime it happens, its alwz scary, d first time it happenes was d most scary part of my life... I paniked... N mind u oo... I burped him every single time e feeds.... Dnt knw ydt aspiration keeps occurring.... Was frustrated, wen 2 c a doc, dey were tellin me i dont burp him often... (Me dt will put him everytime on my shoulder waiting 4 him 2 burp... Sometimes 4 an hr belxh will refuse 2 come) dt i shld b burpin him everytime after feed b4 puttin him down... I tink babies outgrow d stuff... My 13weeks old baby is now handling it himsef... I sense dt wenever e regurgitate he tries not 2 pull his head back n swallow it bk but yesterday we were playin n ws laughing hard den d aspiration happened... My son just took it like a boss n continue playin... Me dt thought d aspiration was gone ws like WAT AGAIN NOW??!!!

U c dt sound in ur los throat cud b catarh cs d aspiration of a tin gave my lo catarh n cough too sef... 4 a month even wen d aspiration stopped my lo was fighting d catarh... Tnk God dey didnt ve d aspirator, i jst bought d nasal drop n used it 4 him... At first it looks like d catarh got worst blockin his nasal passage, ws scared, s followin day his nose was whistling, i keep my calm, d third day nose was making a dry sound, d forth day, i heard no sound n lo is breathin fine again...

So my dear, pls dnt panic... D aspiratn will go gradually as ur lo grow...
Thanks so much ma'am for taking your time to drop this for me. It's not a funny experience o, I use to burp him after each feeding and hold him for like 30 minutes before laying him down but still he will do it. I can't wait for him to overcome it sha. Dr also advised his bed should be raised @ the head side. The lord will continue to protect our LOs

My 1 month DD has stuffed nose. I think she has cold. Sometimes she finds it hard breathing. It's been going on for days now, and it seems to be getting worse especially at night. Seeing her like that scares me. What do I do please

Good day all.
A lot of children have been falling sick this period and women keep saying it's the weather
I don't know if it's just my state, cos I live in Abuja or if it's a nation wide thing.

The two general hospitals near me in bwari and kubwa are crowded with sick children on admission and there is no bed space left. This month alone my 2 year old fell ill twice with temperature, vomiting and coughing.
People keep saying it's the weather responsible for the sickness but me I don't understand.

How is the weather making children sick? Its not too hot here or too cold so how is it the weather exactly?
Or is there a spread of flu or something else we do not know of? I was thinking it's my babys creche not taking proper care of him that's why he was falling sick but the overcrowded hospitals is making me have a rethink.
Has Anyone heard any concrete reason about the many children falling sick these days?

I'm not an expert, im a FTM but my baby did that also, he's 6weeks now and still does the whole twisting, grunting in his sleep, not as much tho. My pediatrician said it's colic but didn't recommend any drug, he said it's normal.

It's Rotavirus.. it seems to occur between January-March and October-November

It's common here in Enugu too. God keep our children safe

Thank you so much ma,I really feel so relieved exactly what I thought it wasn’t easy in pregnancy my tummy was so big...a family friend has no other job than to body shame me whenever she sees me that my tummy is big lipsrsealed lipsrsealed but I tried to ignore her always.now I eat well so I can produce enough breast milk for my babies even if they feed on formula..

Ignore that person please. My second son is 3months old and I gained alot more weight post partum now than i did after having my first son. My stomach is still big too. But I'm not worried. Because I know once he begins solids, I'll then be able to shed some of the weight. The most important thing to me now is to make sure hes well fed and healthy!
