Hey guys, I think we should stop the bashing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this forum, if you don’t like what’s being said just waka pass/ignore. The insults are unnecessary. Life is already hard enough, let’s spread love and focus on the purpose of this forum.

Attend your interview! If the ban doesn’t affect k categories, all will be well; however, if it does, then irrespective of the VO’s decision, your case will go into Administrative processing until the ban is called off!

What I really don’t understand is whether K-1 is immigrant or non-immigrant! Its confusing! Cus it is issued as a non-immigrant visa but processed by the immigrant section of the embassy! I will personally call them on monday

It’s a non immigrant visa, if you don’t marry your fiancé and adjust status you can’t become an immigrant. But will they treat it as a non immigrant visa for the purpose of this ban? We have no clue. Pls let us know what they say when you call. How is a K1 applicant even meant to prove hardship for the waiver when you aren’t even considered as a family member yet. I tire!
