Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Bitrus Bewarang, says two local coaches have been shortlisted for the vacant Super Falcons coaching job.

In a chat with our correspondent, Bewarang also revealed that seven other coaches have also been listed for the roles of goalkeeper trainer and assistant coach.

According to Het Belang van Limburg, nothing stands in the way of Dessers playing for the West African giants after securing a Nigerian passport on Tuesday.

Born in Tongeren to a Belgian father and Nigerian mother twenty-five years ago, the striker qualifies to represent Nigeria if the granny rule is invoked by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Yes. They all count. Official games for another nation at U-17, U-18, U-19 all the way up to U-21 levels will always require a switch of allegiance of that individual no longer wanna rep that nation but his other choice if he has dual/triple/multiple nationality links. Had Dessers played in that official game at U-21 level, he would have required a switch. Thankfully that is not the case for him.

flamingos already got a coach...they all have already been in camp. They even played a couple of friendly matches.
