The Wall Street Journal reports that China is placing travel restrictions on foreigners because they believe that foreigners will bring new infections of the coronavirus to China.

Firstly, who wants to travel to China?

Are foreigners not supposed to be the ones afraid of going to China?

It seems like fake news. I've Googled for the story but I couldn't find any news remotely resembling what the OP posted aside from the news of three WSJ reporters who were asked to leave China because of an article they wrote which the Chinese government found to be 'insensitive'. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the story turns out true though. What do I know?

Interesting... China the hotbed of coronavirus is just trying to save face. This is like Sierraleone during the Ebola crisis banning foreigners from entering their country.

The only country China should ban are travellers from Iran. Iran has not been responsible in delealing with this crisis.

They are doing the right thing. You don't want Travellers to reinfect your people.

It's like when your toothbrush is infected and you take antibiotics but you still brush with the toothbrush every morning. You will be reinfecting
yourself each time which is even more dangerous because bacterias evolve to become resistant to medication.

Most countries probably have the coronavirus and they don't have sufficient kits or even any kits to test for it. So China also has to be afraid of either getting reinfected or having newly infected people.

China the VECTOR of the diseases is restricting people from effecting an already effected country. Who effected the other countries in the first place? Are they bringing back was is dominant in there countries?
