Am just trying to be nice, so people can plan well well, when it comes salary Ministries, FCC & INEC are like 5 & 6. grin

Getting the job first should be anyone's primary concern. When you have the offer letter in your hands, things become clearer..making decisions become easy. The best one can do to stay safe and mentally alright is not to be too expectant. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

Na so local men, including me, begin calculate NNPC mouth watering salary plus #4m annual upfront allowance. When offer letter was released, local man didn't get... The heartbreak ehn...

Funny enough, some were busy calculating how they will spend the first #4m upfront allowance when they have not even gotten the offer letter.

NNPC basic salary for GT at entry level was about 113k on paper, as stated on the offer letter of those who got the offer. Come see, complain grin shocked But, I don't think that's the real actual amount. But e no pass 200k cha for entry level. Na allowance be the real deal.

So, what have I been saying all these while: worry less about salary for now. Worry more on how to get the offer letter in your hands first. First thing first...

I was wondering... Since the exercise is local government based... Anyone has an idea of how many persons per the available position in each local government that they'll take? Or could it be one person per position in each local government?

You might need to be considering level 4, or 3, or 2 even, if you no savi enough Maths to answer your own question.

It was necessary. I posted pay grades for all levels, including school cert, which likely includes O'Levels Maths, so if you can't read the information already provided, twice, you should be realistic and lower your expectations!

I do not know. That's just the listed salaries that I found. You'd need to check with a current INEC employee. I expect one should be on here somewhere.

Even if it were half that listed though, it's still more than better than what most currently get paid, I would think, especially after reading what some currently earn.

This one that you people are already discussing salary while the recruitment site is still open. It's like you want to suffer from first degree heart attack grin grin.

I'm still recovering from the one I suffered from Lagos State government cry cry.

You better calm down wait for the outcome of the whole process.

A word is enough for the wise cool

That professional hire is for those already in other govt jobs because it stated level 9 upward. Don't beat yourself up. There's nothing you can do about it now. Let's hope for the best.

Cheers.

Write your callup number and wait for the best. One thing is very sure that you will have your discharge certificate before the next stage. Moreover, certificate number is certificate number, your NYSC number is your service number, which is the same thing as callup number.

As for me, I have a choice. I don pass that level to dey do nonsense job upandan. Imagine, 15k? What kind of experience is the person gaining on the job other than wasting away his/her precious time and years of usefulness, when he or she can look for any good company to volunteer to work for and gain reasonable on-the-job skills that would matter in seeking better jobs?

I don't mind working for free in any reasonable organization where I would learn valuable skills for career advancement.

This is just nonsense.

I must always have a choice. I refuse to eat shit when served.

Stop misleading people. you have been corrected several times but chose to be adamant. Nysc call up number is not certificate number.
