Influenza and viruses are among us all of the time. They all have a mortality rate, mostly for the young, old and immune compromised people.
We don’t quarantine cities, shut down factories, stop going to work, stay off the streets, stop shopping just because it is flu season every year.
Standard health precautions should apply, as for every other virus.
There is so much inaccurate data being spread by the media and fear mongering that almost seems a sick sport.

I pray this doesn't get out of hands. I can't just imagine the spiral effect this will have.
