Good. Then we can apply same to Sarr. And ofcos kudos to Dennis and Sarr scoring against Big Guns. It's still very commendable. I remember even a certain Ghanaian striker did it for Levante against Barca, bagging a hattrick about two seasons ago or so but we no dey hear him name much again. I think it was Emmanuel Boateng. andrewbaba44: |

TheSuperNerd:Lol now I remember ooo ,I just checked and he is now playing in China ,maybe he went for the cash ,who knows Not that I even rate sarr ,I am just trying to balance things jare ,I have argued with Chris about sarr before |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 1:18pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
Lol... Boateng wan make him money sharp sharp. No time. Lol And yes, I think I recall the argument. Ofcos Chris go rate Sarr Wella naa. Na one of him Senegalese concubines' pikins be that. Chris get wives for Ivory Coast, come get Concubines from Senegal, Mali, and even Guinea + Burkina Faso. ![]() Well, I rate Sarr only on a pretty decent level. He's really good but still way behind some of Africa's top youngsters today. I just dey think wetin Mane go tell am for national team camp later this month. ![]() andrewbaba44: |

andrewbaba44:So u are saying 2 reliable news outlets called him a flop because of wetin? Did I pay them to write that just so I can prove u wrong? See yawa oooo ![]() This is a guy that fell behind Munir in the pecking order. If he didn't get playing time it was because he wasn't good enough and didn't perform. |

BascoVanVeli:Yea. But he hasn't played for Great Britain or England yet.. And frankly speaking,we have a better team than the British... |

TheSuperNerd:I strongly doubt that Liverpool bid 35m for Chukwueze. As far as I know,we were monitoring him last season as a potential replacement for Shaqiri.. but no official bid was submitted... Even if it was,I very much doubt that it was up to 35m... He would have been more or less a backup player . Shaqiri and Minamino are backup players and they didn't cost up to that amount combined..they are even more versatile than Chuks. |

andrewbaba44:The 35m figure is what I strongly doubt... Last season was his first full season as a pro...and he was going to be a backup player... No way we would have bid that amount. Minamino is a more established player than Chuks and even more versatile and he cost less than 10m ... |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 3:12pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
Danielnino00:Liverpool get sense nah ,I wonder how they got minamino for that cheap amount ,or is it because he plays in the Austria league ? Others Epl team can pay 35 for chuks for sure ,but Liverpool ? I doubt |

Folks in here hating and criticizing chukz since 1820 while bobo is busy raking in molla week in week out. I can't wait when y'all will start talking with the other side of your mouth |

andrewbaba44:and u hv no brains to know that playing in the big leagues n clubs adds value to players most especially young prospects? Do u knw if haaland was playing in any of the epl, bundesliga or even the french ligue 1 he would cost close to 100m euros judging by his records in austria and ucl this season? Get off chukwueze's dick |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Danielnino00(m): 3:22pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
andrewbaba44:Liverpool are trying to make minimise their spending.... If we hadn't sold Coutinho,we probably won't have signed Van Dijk and Alisson. Danny Ward was signed for just 100k and made just 3 appearance for Liverpool but was sold to Leicester for 12.5m... that's mad profit. Even Taiwo Awoniyi won't be sold for less than 10m.. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:23pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
It's okay for you to have your doubts coz Liverpool is your team. But they did make that bid. Danielnino00: |

charlesemeka85:But your club submitted a 75m bid for Halaand... The deal didn't pull through because Halaand didn't want the move, isn't it ? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 3:29pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
Danielnino00:75 million? U must be out of ur mind. The reason haaland didnt join untd was raoila's involvement in the deal. Salzburg rejected 75m frm utd and accepted less from dortmund? Get ur facts right |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Danielnino00(m): 3:29pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
TheSuperNerd:It's not just because Liverpool is my club.. but also because of their recent spending habits... Chukwueze would have been back up for just Salah self. He isn't versatile enough to play anywhere else up front.. But if indeed 35m was submitted, then Villareal were stupid to reject it... Especially now that they are benching him for their Spanish players... If he keep sitting on the bench, how will his value increase ? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Danielnino00(m): 3:32pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
charlesemeka85:You keep talking about Raiola's involvement as if Halaand himself didn't have a say in the deal ! Man utd are struggling...Dortmund offered him a better chance of developing himself... At least, that's what he said https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/erling-haaland-explains-snubbed-man-21263038.amp |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 3:40pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
Danielnino00:raiola's involvement was one of the reasons, 2ndly the term and demands from salzburg and haaland's management team werent favourable even still with hos current contract with dortmund. Also u must be deluded to pin point the struggling of man united to the reason why he snubbed the manchester side for dortmund. Dortmund is a better platform for him to launch his career in one of euro top leagues because of their pedegree in giving young bloods a chance but when it comes to financial gains he would hv earned more of what he is been offered current at dortmund The only club that can be rub shoulders with united's status and pedegree in european club football in germany remains only bayern. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:41pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
That's the idea. To give Salah a rest + someone he can be rotated for directly and also to have a ready made replacement on ground with some speculations making the rounds of Salah's possible departure if so. Truthfully the bid was made and it would have been a steal bcoz we are talking of one of the next big things in world football. But you are wrong about Chuks' versatility. He can play RW, LW and surprisingly SS. Have played in those positions for Villarreal before but RW is his major forte. Danielnino00: |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 3:44pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
Danielnino00:Dat Allison money plenty sha ,van dijk is understandable but it should be 50 million at least by then |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Danielnino00(m): 3:44pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
charlesemeka85:Forget pedigree. We are talking about form...Man utd is struggling... Dortmund was a better destination for him.... A struggling club isn't a good place for a young upcoming talent to develop. And again,my post was to rebuff your claim that if Halaand was playing in Europe top5 league,he would have been signed for up to 100m... If his deal to Man utd had happened,u won't have said that.... |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 3:45pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
TheSuperNerd:u get time to answer pple that doesnt see anything good in 9ja players. Liverpool tabled a bid of 30m euros which villareal turned down. Chuks was wanted as a cover for salah who was rumored and still rumored to leave in the summer likely to madrid. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 3:49pm On Mar 02, 2020 |
Danielnino00:Better position when it comes to having an enabling ground to settle and get blooded into a top league. United i agree is unstable for now and not the best place for younger talents for now judging by the pressure and expectations which will be placed on their young shoulders. Without the above stated reason in haaland's case no sane person will advise him to choose dortmund ahead of manchester united. I wont even turn arsenal down for dortmund |
