DNSPro:I hope they prove me wrong. I am from akwa.ibom myself. The economy controls the politics and the politics control the economy. It would be an error by their thinking to let some state grow independently econic wise. It's too much risk for them. |

Some countries had up to 9 seaports but in Nigeria tears is our evidence of good living, Imagine sometime you must sweat blood before you withdraw your hard earning money from bank, students must cry before they succeed to register for examination, No road in Apapa due to numerous containers but Nigeria very comfortable with single function seaport. |

Adakintroy2:I am not from Akwa Ibom but I know this is a serious project that Akwa Ibom definitely needs. Akwa Ibom needs industrial activities more than anything and it will be silly to no make sure this sea port take off. If I as an non Akwa Ibomite have faith in it, why shouldn't you? Don't let what those from the east where I come from often say about another region hindering theirs... They don't know how to play the politics and they are good at blaming everyone else but themselves. INFRASTRUCTURE WISE, PMB is trying. There is a notable progress on 2nd Niger Bridge. Lagos Ibadan Railway is 90% completed already, coaches are beginning to arrive. I have been there, I have toured almost all the Ogun state axis and will be heading to Oyo axis in coming weeks and months.... Blue3k, dropped a link to federal government website where every phase of the project is documented for deep sea port. I can't remember the thread but if u search his profile, you will see it. Its a huge project and so do not expect it to take off instantly. There are lots of things to be put into place, a lot of key factors to be considered. |

DNSPro:You are right in....Best road network and clean environments is what I can say about Akwaibom . They don't use Free range system in their Animal rearing, they house, cage or tie down their animals. |

The video is just a rehash of everything that's currently known about the project. There's a two questions I have left. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlqymId4ESg |

My worries: hope this will not follow TINAPA story... What happen to the TINAPA project? Was the FG, Private Sector and CrossRiver state government not in partnership for TINAPA project? Like Akwa Ibom deep sea project, Like TINAPA abandoned project, but the same Federal government partnership. The problem is not our ability to develop new ideas, the main problem is our inability to delete the old unwanted ideas from our minds. Just shaking my head. |

Blackking98:I had asked,is it to be at ibaka,as formerly touted, or now at uruan?you need to learn how to read effectively.as for my knowledge on roads,I travel frequently and so,know, not a single road out of akwa ibom to other states,is good enough to take such road traffic, including ph road thru Onne.it is be federal,no doubt and waiting on them to fix it ,will be until kingdom come |

tommenoh:We're saying the same thing bro. The onus Is now on the FG to fix their roads leading out of the State and support the the state government move the port foward. Unfortunately because it's not a state in the West or North they will not do anything |

Blackking98:If we were on the same page,I see no reason why you should have been derogatory and used words that could be termed, offensive. Use decorum when next you address people, please.everyone is entitled to their opinions and if you don't agree, just ignore them. Have a lovely day |
