SenecaTheYonger:Open borders have nothing to do with socialism. That is more of a pro-immigration policy usually backed by very liberal or progressive people. Champagne socialist has nothing to do with open borders |

Born2Freak:Yeah, that's why they fought Trump to a stand still when he wanted to secure the Southern border and even ensured that the government remained closed. Yes, yes, I'm sure they're not pro open borders. Anyways, that's not what my post is about. Read to understand. The DNC will NEVER allow a candidate like Bernie that's for sure. They believe in Capitalism as much as the GOP. Just tell me how the Clintons will sit down and watcch you take their money. They've killed people for lesser things ![]() Why do you think TRUMP is 'supporting' Bernie? (Notice the use of quotes in supporting? Maybe now you'll understand its real meaning) |

SenecaTheYonger:One of the greatest economists, when defending Amercan capitalism said- "Look at how people vote with their feet. People come from all over the world for American goods and services" Please, do we see Europeans running to America to get expensive and convoluted healthcare costs? No. Nationalised healthcare is no doubt expensive but it is not crumbling in Europe. In fact, the UK celebrates its NHS. If anything is crumbling, it is the USA healthcare system where more and more people are drawn into poverty because of simple illnesses. Millions remain uninsured in America and you are ignorant enough to claim that European healthcare is crumbling. Keep repeating right wing fox news nonsense. The only place healthcare crumbled a bit is in Finland and that is because the conservatives tried to privatize it and it fell apart. |

SenecaTheYonger:Trump is foolish enough to think he will easily beat Bernie Sanders. Trump has forgotten that he was the underdog against Hillary Clinton. In politics, anything can happen, given the right money and agenda. The establishment Democrats do not like Bernie but they dare not cheat him out a second time. The party will scatter. There are many like me who would vote for Trump if Bernie loses, just to punish the Democrats. 12 percent of Bernie Sanders's supporters voted for trump against Hillary Clinton. |

basilico:What is this one saying? First of all, Bernie Sanders is advocating for what many in the USA call "democratic socialism". His socialism is like that of EU countries like UK, Sweden or Denmark. His kind of socialist is a capitalist economy but based on socialist policies like -Government provided healthcare for all. -free or cheaper access to education for all. -a progressive system of taxation -a humane or higher minimum wage. Most of the countries you mentioned are hardcore communist countries. Communism differs from socialism. Socialism is more about economics and nationalising the means of production. Communism is the political system that empowers a government's total control of a nation, including the economy and means of production. Furthermore, it was not just communism that was the downfall of Cuba and other countries you mentioned. It was corruption. It does matter what system of government you run- once it is corrupt, the country falls apart. |

Born2Freak:So the UK celebrates it's NHS is your rebuttal? Where they supposed to celebrate Nigerians healthcare system or what? Even Venezuela celebrates their economic policy. No point arguing with a Bernie bros. Good luck in November. |

I do but have to look for it, will post something. You can also find bits and pieces yourself if you look. During Bill Clinton and Lynch tarmac meeting, Clinton asked Loretta to help save a case against Hillary and was promised supreme court slot if she could bury the case. She was also told about how the slot will be immediately created. They said there's a recording for it. John Podesta who was Clinton manager was quickly informed about a planned "wetworks"(assaaination) in which he responded "I'm in" according to Wikileak emails. Alice = Hillary Clinton and a farm in Saudi Arabia where 6,000 children were rescued belonged to her is the wonderland. Most of these things will come out by summer. As always, I found the spinned version from democrat sites. These stories are old and many have been taken down. So one has no choice than to post the water down democrats version since those are the ones allowed to remain. PDPGuy:

SenecaTheYonger:First of all, in the uk there is both private and public healthcare. Everyone is automatically covered on public healthcare. If you dont like public one, you can always pay for private healthcare which is sometimes faster. Most doctors are on public NHS and so, even private doctors can sometimes recommend public doctors depending on the issue. Now, if your illness is life threatening or an emergency, there is no line for you under public NHS care. And also there are waiting times and queues in American healthcare system, so dont talk rubbish here. Furthermore, people go to Brazil and India from the USA for cheaper surgeries all the time. Do you see Europeans running to America for healthcare? |

raumdeuter:That's an awesome point you brought up. However, its fair to say that every country on the planet has a similar story. Such isnt exclusive to the US. Furthermore, the examples you gave are the exceptional cases of individuals that became successful from a normal background, my point refers mainly to the US political system. Who is responsible for the policies of the US government, the general public, lobbiest or pressure groups? As in, who does the political system in the US serve? The American political system certainly only serves a minority of the general public with the correct intent and purpose, the rest have to put in work, maintain a high level of ambition, get financial backing, and even that doesnt guarentee the guy on the street any kind of success in US politics. Today, in order to have any kind of success in US politics, one would have to have graduated from a reputable college or university, have sufficient financial backing and get the aproval of certain lobbiest, pressure groups and other politically invested organisations. Those that have relative success and all those that become seasoned politicians in the US have to consider all the above aquisitions and then some. |

SenecaTheYonger:You meant to say, there are no fair democratic systems. Since you think there are no fair systems, then it stands to reason that you agree with me on the main thrust of my argument that the US political system is unfair. Have you heard of a country called China? Socialism may have its flaws, however its a fair system compared to any of the democratic political systems that are present in the world of today. In order for the inequalities in the US to be reduced, there is the need for them to adopt bare socialist values. Therefore, assuming the people in control of US politics want a fair society, they would vote in a person similar to Bernie Sanders and sort out all discrimination and inequalities as best they can and once that has been established, they can go back to their Capitalism or whatever. |

SenecaTheYonger:What is the difference when it comes to healthcare? Even not counting my travels around Europe, a lot of EU people reside in the UK. |
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by SenecaTheYonger: 11:33am On Mar 03, 2020 |
Amujale:Yes, I agree. But the fact still remain that there's no perfect system. Have you heard of a country called China?China doesn't practise socialism anymore. They are the number one exporter in the world right now and if you know China well, you'll know that they are capitalist. In fact, it was Xi that started implementing this capitalist system - that was when China saw a rise in economic standards. If you want to see a socialist China, then check out Mao Mao and how many millions died under his Bernie-Socialist economy. But that's not to say socialism is bad, you just don't know when you go from socialism to full blown communist, the line is too thin. Therefore, assuming the people in control of US politics want a fair society, they would vote in a person similar to Bernie Sanders and sort out all discrimination and inequalities as best they can and once that has been established, they can go back to their Capitalism or whatever. For all the goodies socialism promises, you have to remember that at the end, it's human, the most flawed species, that Will be in charge lol |

SenecaTheYonger:Now, i see you have a thing for Sanders. Chairman Mao is Chinese, Bernie Sanders is an American and their political careers are literally miles away from one another. You are intentionally misconscruing your own argument. Go and reeducate yourself regarding how the Chinese came from where they were in the 1980's to how they are today. Furthermore, Bernie Sanders talks about adopting the correct and proper socialist values applicable to the US in order to combat the social injustices and inequalities. It's the correct and proper socialist values that apply to their specific needs that they need to adopt in order to fix the things taked about. |

Now to the fabled Socialized healthcare When they talk about this, they forget to mention about the wait times Is it not better to have healthcare and be in debt than to die on waiting lists Below are stories of Canadians who couldnt see doctors after months in Canada, many drive south to the US to get healthcare. Is this what America wants with socialized healthcare? Waiting months to see a doctor A policy brief — titled Flight of the Sick, by the Calgary-based think tank secondstreet.org — says 217,500 Canadians left the country for health care in 2017, according to Statistics Canada. If those travelling with the patients are included in the count, the total rises to 369,700 people.https://torontosun.com/news/national/canadians-continue-to-leave-the-country-for-health-care-says-new-report Socialism is evil |

This is socialized healthcare in Canada TORONTO — WHEN SHARON Shamblaw was diagnosed last summer with a form of blood cancer that could only be treated with a particular stem cell transplant, the search for a donor began. A Toronto hospital, 100 miles east of her home in St. Mary's, Ontario, and one of three facilities in the province that could provide the life-saving treatment, had an eight-month waiting list for transplants. Four months after her diagnosis, Shamblaw headed to Buffalo, New York, for treatment. But it was too late. She died at the age of 46, leaving behind a husband and three children Ontario, the country's most populous province, provides a good example. The three hospitals that use stem-cell therapy to treat patients with blood disorders and aggressive cancers like the one that Sharon Shamblaw battled are unable to keep up with the soaring demand. So patients are sent to medical facilities in Buffalo, Cleveland, Ohio, and Detroit, Michigan, for the potentially life-saving treatment. https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/articles/2016-08-03/canadians-increasingly-come-to-us-for-health-care So this fantastic Canada healthcare cannot care for its people that it sends them Southwards to the evil US Is this the type of healthcare that America wants? Socialism is evil |
