Supreme Court Stands Down To Deliver Judgement On Ihedioha’s Review Request by fergie001(mod): 10:59am On Mar 03, 2020
The Supreme Court has stood down for judgement in the application for review of the decision sacking former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha and declaring Hope Uzodinma winner of the March 9, 2019 election.

A seven-member panel of justices presided by Justice Tanko Muhammad stood down the matter till 3:00pm for judgement after listening to arguments of lawyers. Earlier, counsel to PDP and Ihedioha, Kanu Agabi (SAN) asked the apex court to set aside the judgement of January 14 and uphold the judgement of the Court of Appeal which dismissed the petition by Uzodinma.

But counsel to Uzodinma, Damian Dodo (SAN) said the Supreme Court judgement actually set aside every decision of the Court of Appeal, which he described as a “Tsunami”.
He added that there was no ambiguity in the judgement of the Supreme Court which declared his client winner.

there is different between stolen mandate and someone having unmerited favor due one's reckless making.

You should blame your party leaders.

This is not going well. It will be difficult for the SC to uphold the Appeal court judgment because with that, the number of cancelled votes will exceed margin of victory. The supreme court might just decide to go with what they've done already then.

What does INEC say when the cancelled votes exceed the margin of victory?
Re-run....just like Hope prayed for at the lower court.

What does the constitution say about Spread?

That judgement must be tweaked wrt constitutional spread.

It might not affect the facts of the judgement but they can not overlook the spread-issue.

All this is so that some SAN won't quote it tomorrow.

As much as Ihedioha should be given his mandate, the SC cannot reverse their previous judgement cos it will set a bad precedence for previous, pending, and future cases, it is what it is.

It will only go in one direction, either to Emeka Ihedioha or Hope Uzodinma. APC or PDP
