Your sponsor has to be a legal resident in the UK but you the applicant has to be a citizen of a commonwealth country. Do you understand it now

I also applied last year too but couldn't get a sponsor, d person I later got said he can't give me his details needed by d British army,so I jux av to let it go anyway.

He is in the British army as a recruit rn, he got selected in September 2019 he's 35 yrs but he's a UK resident/work permit holder himself

You should have completed your application in January because it was open for commonwealth countries. Why did you have any problems submitting your application?

For regular soldier, the one you qualify as a commonwealth citizen you have to be 18years and be enlisted before your 36th birthdate

Yes he has started training, he's the only naija guy in his group with some Ghanaians and a Jamaican from the commonwealth,i just applied for intl passport which will be ready this month before I can finish the process

Your friend can start application now cause I heard the next set of recruitment will be by September, he must also have a sponsor (they will call the sponsor to confirm if he/she is willing to accommodate your friend in the UK),have at least O level result,be using his bank account steadily, have a job, and also hit the gym and exercise regularly I heard their training no be here ooo
