What of the cars and presidential fleet your master General Buhari got from Goodluck Jonathan? Give the man a break, he just assumed office and most importantly during Dickson tenure no Commissioner or high Government Official had cars. so what you're seeing playing out is policy shift.
oga sensible Nigerians like us don't support bad things no matter the party in power this is a man that hasn't spent up to a month in office I was telling a friend that the gov will try to convince the people so that they will consider him for second term is that's how to start? Is that how to convince the people that you are better than the former gov? Is that how to convince the people that you are better than Lyon?

Oh, Bayelsa! Pity, pity, pity! I watched a news channel yesterday where the Bayelsa Head of Service (or so) stylishly complained that Christmas bonus was last paid to civil servants in 2018. She also said the pension arrears have accumulated for so many years. Yet, Dickson, the big man with a huge ego, claimed to be the 'architect of modern Bayelsa state'.

One of the traits of majority of Nigerian politicians (APC, PDP, APGA, YPP, etc) is wickedness!

How could a tiny state like Bayelsa, with the lowest number of local government areas in Nigeria (only cool, and the lowest voter population, tiny land mass, BUT with one of the top 3 monthly revenue allocations, in addition to NDDC, 13% revenue derivation, Ministry of Niger Delta projects, foreign university scholarships to ex-militants, Amnesty Programme, etc, etc, be so full of impoverished people?

How?

How could purchase of luxury cars, by a bank loan, be the first executive communication to the House of Assembly, less than two weeks after being sworn-in?

So, ALL the many luxury SUVs and mint-fresh cars and SUVs in the long convoy of Dickson, have ALL become unusable?

From Alams, to Jonathan, to Sylvia, to Dickson, and now the Supreme Court boy, Diri, it's been wicked governance.

Pity!

This is one of the reasons I always wrote that the wickedness of Governors is far greater than those at the Federal level, but every critic focuses on the FG. The tyranny, and barefaced impunity at states is beyond belief!!!

Pity!

10 good years? and so what exactly is the job of the wailers if they don't wail about issues like this?.
Oh sorry I forgot that PDP has been managing the state from 1999 and wailers are PDP.
They wail about Osun, they wail about Tinubu in Lagos, infact they wail about all Yoruba states governments except the suegbe in Oyo.
Yoruba ronu o, this is a clear case of " da bi mo se da, olori buruku ma nwa eni kun ara won.

Bayelsa? A State that is plagued with useless Leaders.
With just 8 LGs but huge allocation yet impoverished.

It pisses me off when people say "just 8 LGs". What makes you guys think 8 is less?

In fact, in Bayelsa's case it is more, most of her LGAs are bigger than others across the country.

That not withstanding the 'loan' is uncalled for.

I must laugh. Oh Bayelsians, I am very sorry for you all, but I am even more sorry for Nigerians. When SU court sacked Lyon and Emeka, you see the guillibles carrying placards, roaming the streets, jumping to and fro on Nairaland. I must laugh. Let this be a stern warning that all politicians are essentially the same. No difference. The illusion of choice, indeed.

It defies logic. The residents really did their best to help themselves this time around by voting the looting party out. They tried to explore the alternative but their wishes and resolution have to wait for another four or eight years

Do you have sense if you are feed fats from corruption of this politician doesn't mean you should come to a faceless forum and defend stupidity going on this government.
Justify the 2 billion loan cars. How this contribute to economic of Bayelsa? The governor and his deputy just left the red chamber what of the official car they got from the red chamber?

Look at this nonsense. Absolute rubbish. Is the man crazy. Is the state assembly crazy. The people should burn those cars to ashes and run riot on that sick place. I have never seen such depravity in all my life. Your first move of government is this.... kai.
