I graduated same year and served the following year as well. Also applied for jobs and internships but none seemed to work out. In my own case, I'm not from a financially advantaged home, so I have resorted to applying for scholarships for masters abroad. I think I have applied up to 4 masters scholarships so far. I think you should try same.
How can one get those scholarships?

At practical concepts Inc, we make every step easy and stress free for you.. We are the no 1 admission agency in Romania and our success rate has only been 100% since conception except in few cases where the clients had bad travel history or faked documents.but provide us with the right documents and you will get your admission 100%..no money need, give us a try. In Romania, school fees ranges from 1950 euros to 3100 euros but special cases like medicine and architecture costs 7000 euros. You are permitted to work and can travel to 6 European countries without visa and when they join the schengen area this year, you can travel the whole European Union visa free.. Want to know more? The right step to study for a masters abroad is to make sure the recipient country gives you opportunity to stay there and look for work legally after your graduation.

Thus countries like canada, US, Australia should come into your mind.

If your fees are not that much, consider English speaking arabic countries such as Bahrain, UAE, etc. These countries are seriously underated, no income tax, plentiful of jobs etc, Forget anything about religion and focus on your life for now

Dont be scared of starting new things, going into a country for a first time is the equivalent of sometimes travelling to a new state within your country for the first time, at first you wont know anyone. It is normal.

All you have to make sure is that the country will allow you to stay and find work. This is because the money you paid back in tuition fees and accomodation, etc. It is feasible that you make it all back even before you leave that country. It is just common sense really

Dont join the bandwagon, cos my friends are going here, one uncle said this one uncle said that.

AVOID THE UK. AVOID THE UK, AVOID COMING TO THE UK FOR MASTERS OR FOR ANYTHING

The day your visa ends as a student here in the UK, it is the day they stop even acknowledging that you were even once a student and it is one of the most expensive countries to live in the World.

If you have already made the mistakes stated above, well for now you are on your own, perhaps you just need to keep pushing and trying to find a job within Nigeria for now or start to look for countries you can go for further study in
I like this.. Nice suggestions wink

A WES evaluation is your passport to education and employment. ... The WES evaluation converts educational credentials from any country in the world into their U.S. equivalents. It describes each certificate, diploma or degree that you have earned and states its academic equivalency in the United States.

@OP
In my opinion, I think you should apply for your Masters in any English speaking country because it may be difficult for you to get a job and scholarship in Europe.

You can also consider studying another course if you want. For example, my friend also read English in Nigeria but she applied for a bachelors degree in logistics in Finland. She completed her studies in less than 3 years and got a job immediately after her studies. She earns about 3000eurs and has applied for her masters degree.

However, most Finnish Universities offer scholarship while universities in German are almost tuition free but you need to deposit 10,000 euros living expenses in a German bank before your studies.

Please, search for universities in the country you want to study online. Check their requirement and apply. You can do it yourself. In case, you want to go to any Finnish university search with this link www.studyinfo.fi

Good luck!

Go to Aberdeen university porter and apply on line. It is one of the best university in Scotland UK. Get your university transcript ready. Get a letter from your university to confirm that the medium of your education was thought in English so that U will be exempted from English language. If U are given the admission and U paid the fees, they will forward it to the embassy. U need to do X ray at Ikeja to confirm that U don't have TB. U will do biometric at Ikeja TLC Mobolaji Bank Anthony way. Get up to 4 million naira to start with.

Dm me for info...
Lyricalgod:
I graduated from the university in 2017 and served the following year, have tried a couple of job applications and internship programs but none has paid off.

Days back my parents asked me to apply for a masters programme abroad, since they would have less financial engagement next year, they would be able to sponsor me comfortably, I suggested giving me the money to setup a business instead, but they were not too interested.

But am confused don't know where to start, and how to go about it I.e application, visa etc.. I know a lot of experienced readers are here who have been there, and i know their are people like me out there who want to learn and gain vital information.

Mods please push this to front page

Coursera and EDX are MOOC, both provide free and fee online education portal to world-class universities across the world. You have to meet all entry-level requirements including academic references, university grades and letter of admission. Some of the university provide scholarship and hardship grants.

It is a cheaper and risk-free option, as you only pay for the courses that you intend to do. Even if you don't complete the MSC you will have certification covering the subjects that you studied and you have an option to select a subject that is in demand in the modern industry.

I will suggest that you do your own research. :https://www.coursera.org/ and https://www.edx.org/

In my opinion, unless you intend to be an academic, universities degrees are overrated, time-consuming and expensive in the modern era. Businesses are only interested in readily transferable skills in management, technology or science. There many new avenues to network with your peers at meetup, seminar and events. The days of studying an MBA to the network are long gone
Are they free?

If your master's degree is not in any of STEM related courses, please forget it.
If it does, get a good consulting firm to assist you...

This is negative energy. Please stay open-minded. When u get a job, u get a job. £30000 is not a factor once u come as a student. Besides in less than a year, do u know UK has increased its minimum wage twice? Do not give what is meant for Peter to Paul. Please get well informed to make right decisions.
adonainana:
Things will change or things have changed. Come 2021, the requirement will still find a £30,000 job or be on your way back home. Which job pays graduates in the uk £30,000. Very very rare. So what peter has given you paul has taken it back.

English people are the most corporate deceitful people in the whole world. Nothing is for free and will ever be.

Avoid the UK if you are going through the student route or you may end being an illegal immigrant and resort to Credit Card fraud for survival

Masters degree doesn't guarantee good job. I have a lot of CVs in my email of foreign Masters holders looking for any job at all.

If you know you can handle a business, no need to waste time and money going abroad for Masters. Start up that business and watch it grow. In few years to come, you will be happy you did.
One who goes into business can also lose it all.

For the motivation letter/personal statement part, I'll plead with anyone writing it to take proper diligence and do it by him/herself. While it's normal to be afraid of submitting a poorly written motivation letter, it's better you face the fear, work on it yourself and write something from your heart. Go online, search for samples, look for what the schools want you to write on and spend a great deal of time writing it. In my journey so far for a master's degree abroad, I've been successful at least in one area: writing a personal statement/motivation letter to four Russell Group universities and being offered admission in the four. That's a great start to any achievement in the course of your programme. Shun laziness and be original.
Truth is not everyone can write it up to standard.
I however have been able to help a couple of people with their essays leading to successful applications.
If you need help, I can help you
