We Southerners take things in politics literally. Whereas the North play divide and rule chess with us.
Let me tell you, if the NORTH see PDP as the best option to retain presidency in the North, they will gradually dismantle APC. People like Fayemi already know this.

Even if they concede presidency to the South, they won't give it to an overambitious, calculating politician.

He is not bothered because he should not be. In a Presidential system the party and government have different power structures. Trump is not the head of the Republican party and cannot be bothered about the squabbles in it or who heads it. Let us not mix up Parliamentary and Presidential systems.

We just love our feudalism. Why don't we just subscribe for an elected monarchy. Buhari this, Buhari that. Even a learned SAN cannot decipher the difference between individuals and institutions saying Mr. Buhari should intervene 'because he is respected by all'.

That kind of bull is why the Nigerian still requires a traffic warden at a traffic light stop. He simply cannot organise himself around rules and cannot recognise institutions. He needs a bit and bridle to run straight and narrow.

Tinubu is not the Leader of APC, it is the President.
Tinubu may be the Sout West leader but hi sposition is just ceremonial, hehas handed over the reigns of Pary leadership to Buhari, once Buhari was elected President.

Again, Tinubu is a slefish person, he sees everything through the lense of Personal interest and as such, is watching where the sword will tilt, so he can latch-on and take advantage for himself, hence his muteness on the matter.

So, his trategy is to allow members go at each other, fight one another and eventually destroy the party .
If it is matter of herdsmen butchering people and the victims are planning to defend themselves, you will see how quickly Buhari willcome out and insist they cannot defend themselves or say they should accommodate their killers.
Once APC is destroyed, being the vehicle to achieve a Southern Presidency, that chance is also destroyed
Buhari will then support another party to present a Northern candidate which could win or if PDp presents Atiku, the end result is still the same.

How we made a mistake of electing such an evil, terrorist-loving and nepotistic person like Buhari as President, wil go down in history as the greatest mistake in Nigeria.
