Does the writer mean he spent over 6hrs in traffic? That's serious.
He didn't mention the part when his wife was pricing plantain from the street hawker, arguing for N50 change. Road Don clear, madam still dey argue.
Nigerians can lie.

Didn’t the Airline has any stop over or is his cousin dangote that fly first class
Or he think international plane fly like you are going from Lagos to kebbi by road without stopping
OP weldone sir
My brother, pls always think before you type such jargons on a public forum.

For your information, airplane travel is not like local land travel by GIG Motors were you'll have stopover in Lokoja on your way to Abuja. Lagos to Heathrow with BA is a straight 6hrs journey.

I don't doubt him. I once left Yaba at 8pm and arrived home (Ejigbo) at 1:00am, no thanks to the daily notorious traffic at mushin-isolo axis.

Extremely notorious for traffic is the 'Aye' bus-stop- that tiny road junction always (morning and night) stacked with long container trucks, the industrial trucks, and oil haulage trucks on that tiny road. Oh lawd! Abysmally frustrating on daily basis.

Govt should pls come to our aid on that road. It's adjacent Aswani-Ajao estate road, for those who don't know it.
Depends on location and how to handle it. During 2019 rainy season, there was real nasty traffic in Lekki. Once I see the rubbish on Google map, I just jejely come down from the bus and leave them with their traffic trek forward and enter another bus. N300 will not kill me. I wore construction jogger shoes. You can walk on sand and water. No problems. Wash the shoe and prepare for next day n

As shared by Segalink
Lagos traffic is out of this world. My wife and I dropped off my visiting cousin from the UK at the airport for her return. We were still in traffic on the way back home, when she called that she’s landed safely in the UK. #EndGoSlow #KeepLagosMoving Oncoming police ca

Stop lying and stop exagerating!
it takes at least SIX hours in flight, to travel to the UK, and if we include all the Check-in formalities, you wont spend less than SEVEN hours after drop-off at the airport.
Now, tell us where you house is located so we can actually expose this your lie that the person already landed in the UK while you are still SEVEN HOURS in traffic.

Exaggeration ...
I once left my Company's Warehouse at Mende, Maryland around 4:50pm on a Friday in December last year and got to my house @ Iju-Ishaga (Ifako-Ijaiye LGA) around 8:43pm. That day, all the available routes were all in a standstill. Mobolaji Bank Anthony towards Ikeja Bridge enroute Oba Akran-Akilo Road was a no-go-area. Sheraton link bridge-Opebi-Allen-Aromire-Adeniyi Jones Avenue was totally blocked. Ordinarily, on a good day, Maryland to my house is + or - 55mins. So, it very possible. It might not be a daily occurrence but its very possible once in a while when the demon in-charge of Traffic affairs decides wreck havoc on Lagosians.

I am currently doing a work for a client at his company's premises outside Lagos with accommodation for the past three weeks. I am almost done with my mission but the fear of coming back to Lagos is deeply troubling.

My wife has been on my neck to come back as she is missing me. But the comfort I am enjoying in the hotel my client put me, which is a walking distance to his company location is too good to leave and come and face this Lagos wahala.

I have told my wife that I will extend my stay by one more week to have enough rest even my client agreed with me to chill with him in his hotel before returning to Lagos madness.

Lagos is a mess biko, if not the money to be made there smiley

Stop lying to your wife, we know who else is with you in that Hotel, after the days work! "Rest" ing on Big Bweast is not compelte rest joor.
Dont worry, we wont alert your wife but please go home and see your kids, even if not for the sake of your wife, because we know how complted bleeped you are right now. grin grin

That extra one week you promised that lady will land you in trouble of Corona virus if you dont repent, just dey watch . grin grin

Where did you encounter traffic. I left Ogudu around same time and got to V.I in less than 20 minutes. Apparently the traffic was towards Lekki~Ajah axis.

I know that traffic. Fortunately, it is due to oshodi apapa road construction. It will reduce once they finish that oshodi apapa road.

This lagos traffic, is not man made..... Some evil spirits are truly involved.........

You cannot plan your meetings, if you have scheduled meetings, best to leave home hours in advance.......

To have 3 meetings in Lagos in one working day, is an impossibility...... cheesy

There is no exaggeration here. If you lived in some parts of Lagos you will know.

I once was driving to Magodo estate from Mile 2. I stayed a straight 5 hours in Orile traffic. It took me 7 hours to get to the estate for a journey that shouldn't take more than 30 minutes ordinarily.

Road construction in Oshodi Apapa express the past 6 months have found many staying an entire 6 hours in one spot.

That's why I drive at night, biz at ajah, house at ojuelegba

I keep busy till like 11pm, 11:40pm tops am home, but now as married man, I can't try that again

I don comot ajah 11:30, bought fuel at con oil Chevron drive, reach house 12:01, lucky I got home at that time cos my area dey lock all the surrounding gates by 12 on the dot
Was driving at crazy speed
I majorly stay till that time just to drive as I want
