Try to fumigate your rooms, seal up any possible hole you're able to find including ceiling (though it's rare). They're usually found in wet and cool places most especially under rugs and carpets being left unchecked for months.

Also try to re- arrange your rooms once in a time and avoid having a stuffy room.

Though the centipede looks vulnerable, it's movement can be scary to anyone seeing it for the first time.

Not dirty rooms as some opined......it's a bushy environment .... Check ur doors..there might be openings underneath ..to crawl in.... It rarely live in d ceiling.... U can try fumigate d environment as well

Get the sniper like you plan and sprinkle it all over the rooms in the house but avoid surfaces because sniper may destroy it.

Don't sprinkle o, spray it. Sprinkling means u have to touch it. Wash ur hands thoroughly after use. Sniper is damn dangerous, do not play with it. I have the same experience except that there were many of them and they crawl out in the night and even crawl on top of my body. I used sniper. Check ur bathroom and holes in ur room. Also ensure there are no gaps under the door. Sniper can keep them away for sone time not forever.

Centipedes thrive in dirty, dark and congested places. Could be the ceiling you mentioned. Do please make haste to close up all holes in ur ceiling. They are venomous but less likely to cause death but when they slip into your drink or you accidentally cook them in your kettle or pot and drink from either, it may be fatal. Plug the ceiling and decongest your room as more may be hiding in dark places like under ur bed,min side your shoes etc.

Same here but Millipedes this time. I've killed about 6 this year. They come from the edges of the floor and love dark places. Gonna cover up all the holes soon enough.

Funnily I have killed about 7 on my bed, more than 10 in my kitchen and other parts of the apartment and I didn't tell a soul. I just thought it's nothing.

If you use rug or your room temperature i always damp,then u will see more if this.Meanwhile I was once bitten by a big black centipede few years ago,my broda d pain no be here o,coupled with d swellings.

Thiz stuff are common if you rent a virgin apartment that why its Good to alwsys fumigation before you move into any aprtment.. I saw many of thz stuff dead including scorpion, cos i fumigate my apartment before moving into the house

Ill help you.is not from your ceiling dude.common blv your in a self con room.ground floor.It normally comes out from the bathroom floor water drain or kitchen.loves moist places.

Solution.
Pour sniper inside your bathroom floor drain.then make sure u cover it with cloth or u become sorry.close d drain of kitchen sink.
