It is a crime to stay in the relationship and making them have false hope...It is a crime spending his money while you have other intentions. It is better u let him know it's a FWB relationship.

But sometimes it gets very hard, I mean seriously hard to just say NO to the very person you know loves you but you don't love. I know sometimes why most ladies fall victim to moving on with someone they don't love it because of how the guy must have spent on them and how long they've played games with his feelings.

I have decided to ask everyone here for advice —
should I marry a very decent guy if I felt nothing more than respect and friendly feelings to him these days?

The reason I ask is that I’m 28 but I haven’t had any relationship before this. I’ve fallen in love several times before but the guys either turned out to be married, not interested in me, had a very unstable mind, or were irresponsible and let me down…

I would love to listen to my heart but even till today, my heart is used to making the wrong decisions…

Now I met this guy, and he fell in love with me immediately. He is very responsible, caring, perceptive…
But I simply don’t feel anything for him…

I’ve told him that already but he asked me to give him a chance and to see if I would change my mind…
I’ve given him that chance but I simply don’t feel emotional or physical compatibility…
I just can’t imagine having a spousal relationship with him…

Should I give him a straight-up “NO” and continue to wait/search for someone while living my life?
Or is there a chance that love will come after marriage? This my last question sounds very funny but what brought up all these is due to the many videos I've watched on YOUTUBE about how to give up in a relationship/how to fall in love.

To answer your question no it is not, just let them know you are not ready for marriage before it gets to this level. But men sha are trying, if they don't propose on time the girl will be worrying and coming to ask other spinsters on nairaland if she should dump him. If he proposes too early the girl will embarrass him. But last last marriage na scam.

I say marriage is a scam because some people who know they can't stay with one person will be fooling themselves in marriage and collecting dickson and pussycat outside or their mind is not even in the marriage at all.

Even worse if the man/woman is only putting effort into the relationship because of marriage, after being declared Mr and Mrs they stop trying and show their real nature.

When you are single by choice at least you are honest and not wasting each other's time.

Your observations about women are also correct. A lot of them want men to do all the work in the relationship. These days men are wising up but some are still by the wayside.
