I am the kind of person that does not let events fly without reflecting on them. This whole drama in the last few days, as has been several others in the past, is stamped all around with different shades of conspiracy. Many atrocities are being perpetrated in the country which the MSM deliberately refuses to carry, and then two events related to the dethronement and the Oshiomole ousting have been splashed in our faces in order to keep us from seeing what is really going on. Time will tell, but the aim of this thread is a post I came across and think we should all see. When I see most of us down south already singing songs of SLS being a good candidate for the presidency over a few hypocritical speeches, I shake my head in pity because we never learn. Maybe nigerians deserve the kind of leadership they get after all. Feel free to support/oppose the cases the author presented, but I choose enlightenment over pettiness. I separated the cases in different paragraphs so those of us who have a short attention span for long posts can easily glance through.

If we in the south obey simple zoning to promote equity this things won't be an issue even The only reason why north is even concerning runing is cos south is not United ....why is south not United the turn of the south east are not respected by the yorubas Who do u blame the igbos that is insisting on their turn or yorubas that want to take igbos turn after having theirs ? As it's stands now their is nothing like south ....it's better sanusi or any northerner rule than yorubas takes Igbo turn ...simple U guys should quit calling for southern unity when u are the ones separating the south Igbos have always followed equity n have always respected zoning even against our own ojukwu ...so why can't others 17 Likes 2 Shares |

In as much that I saw in the post that Sanusi will modernize Nigeria and not the north alone, then the north will take credit for the modernization...am not angry with that. All I want to see is Nigeria to grow. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Your mistake is that you think southerners are thinkers, Just fully reading what you wrote would discourage 50% of them, I think all those years of military rule has made us subservient, so we think like stressed lab rats. A typical Southerner cannot connect dots so he pretends to be religious, and religion is the opium of the foolish. He doesn't ask why Southerners in America and Europe keep breaking records but back home his life is in shambles He has become too afraid to demand freedom (minus ipob), he would rather pick on his peers and compare his miserable existence with other southern tribe, he lives in squalor and in decay and creeks and the 'once great' cities of the South West, Alas! he has become a content slave. Our heroes used to fighters, not the caliber of Tinubu! Sanusi is a jihadist, but most people's idea of a jihadist is Shekau and Bagdadi. Connect the dots fooolish southerners!!! If you think Hausa's that have been thoroughly conquered would understand what is going on, then you are even more dumb than expected. Sanusi says what every 15 years old in the South knows and suddenly idiotsss are championing him for president. Una slavery just start! 10 Likes 1 Share |

I tired for them (southerners). Guess they have never learned their lesson that those people(northerners) don't give a goddamn f**k about them. Crying more than the bereaved. A man who subjected himself to the office of traditional institution knowing too well what he stand to benefit(money, fame, cars, prestige etc.) and what he stand to lose should he be found wanting. I guess Nigerians don't know that a traditional ruler and a religious leader should be apolitical in their dealings with these dirty game players thereby maintaining your honor, respect and seat. And becoming a father to all in your domain. Nigerians should just let the man be. Probably in his sober moments he will REFLECTS whether he spoke the truth or HALF-TRUTH(which in it self is not truth). And should he have spoken the truth did he WALK the TRUTH himself? And to those Nigerians calling for him to be the president I just want to say this: you guys have not learned your lessons and will yet not learn because why - A LEADER IS A REFLECTION OF THE MAJORITY OF THE MASSES |

mrvitalis:Of all the many reasons nigeria will not work, I can say the most obvious reason is that while the core north has an agenda, the west and the east just have mere interests...and then the middle belt have been suppressed, its like they don't even know what to do anymore. None of these appears beneficial to all. Having said that, irrespective of who gets the presidency, every other region can never be pacified, either due to total disdain or just unnecessary rivalry. The most beneficial solution is outright disintegration; peradventure we decide to merge in 20/50/100 years time, it will be based on concrete fundamentals whose results will be clear, logical and measurable. 4 Likes |

Donelli: Regarding agenda and interests....i think all that is in relation to the elite of the respective regions! Can’t speak for the masses of other regions, but those of the south-east have a agenda: total restructuring or outright secession! |

So here's what I think. It is either you actually believe this write up which make you very paranoid in my opinion Or you know it contains a lot of half truths and outright falsehood which makes you mischievous. Either way, I see that you are aggressively yanking the chain of calamity. First, you implied that Sanusi targeted Southern banks as the then CBN governor just to make sure that the south doesn't rise. Then you tell us that he actually targeted Southern banks only because he wanted t get back at their CEOs. This alone changes the narrative of what you are trying to tell us. What exactly are you saying? Are you saying that Cecilia Ibru wasn't corrupt? Are you saying that the court was wrong? Are you saying that Olusegun Obasanjo who was the President at the time (I believe) was also playing to the northern agenda? While I won't rule out any extended and complicated mind games by the Northern oligarchy to keep power come 2023, I think your narrative might be a little off. Yes, Sanusi is all over the news today. I give it a couple of weeks more at the very most. And it is already very dead news...and this is just 2020. I know you'll say before 2023, they'll plan other shenanigans, but it begs the question, why sack the man now? Why not wait until 2022 at the most so that the man will just morph into a political gladiator after having used his position and prominence as an Emir up until 2022 to continue "speaking out for the truth" that seems to have endeared him to the people? Why sack him now? Nigerians don't have long term memory. By 2022/23 they've forgotten about this case like it never happened. That's my take. |

Op have said it all. I said this several times and I will say it again; Taqiyya (Lies and Deception) is Islamist Jihadist biggest tool of warfare. Jihadist will lie about any thing to potray themselves as liberal reformist but their actions will ALWAYS expose them for who they really are. Fellow Nigerians, Sanusi is not what you think he is as we can see from Op's expose. The guy is nothing but a wolf in sheep clothing. A snake, a covert Jihadist and a bloody terrorist. Sanusi has been commissioned by northern terrorist lords to continue from where buhari stopped and lead the Jihad against Middle Belt and Southern Nigeria. Those who have ears, let them hear. ONE NIGERIA IS DEAD! 4 Likes |

Donelli:We in SE&SS would rather support him same way you guys supported Buhari knowing fully well he has nothing to offer. But for your (SW) selfish political interest. My friend there's nothing like South bcuz we are not together with you guys. It's either SE /SS produces the next president or North should rule in perpetuity with our full support! Rather than support Tunubu, Osibanjo, Fashola and the rest of your folks warming up, we rather take our chances up North and hope for the best. Thank you. 2 Likes |
