If you read the letter carefully, you will quickly come to realise that the letter is not directed to Fayemi alone but to all the executive governors in Yoruba land. It is an indirect warning to all the governors not to tread the path of Ganduje.

Kabiyesi, ki Ade pe Lori, ki bata pe le ese. Thank you my King for letting him know that traditions are not to be toyed with. I so much believe in traditional values that it should not be messed with it. Thank there is Christianity, it should not insult tradition. It is shocking that Ifeyemi, a Yoruba man can do this. I am so angry with the Obas that after the military rule no none of them thought of taken back what is theirs when democracy took the centre stage. How can a governor be ordering a King about? I see the Kings to be bigger than governor, even the president. All this rigging governors capitalised on the facts that Our Kings started going cap in hand to ask for favours the governors now thinks they can cheapen Kings. My Kings, how I wish you all can, all over the country's Kings to sit and chart the way forward over Kingship as it was before the military too over and ever since then, tradition seem lost. Kano is still on the front burners and Ifayemi wants to show strength. Rather than bow down for Obas, they would wish Obas to bow down for them, May the gods forbids.
