Thank you op for this enlightening thread but let me quickly correct the notion of Ese Odo LGA in Ondo state.it is not an ijaw dominated place but Yoruba dominated LGA with Yorubanized Apoi and Arogbo villages and they were migrant fishing communities just as Fulani migrated to different areas.

The more important point I want to make is that the Yoruba is the single largest ethnic group in Nigeria
