What Happened To Your New Year's Resolution? by edwonderz(m): 4:45pm On Mar 14, 2020
Three months ago every gym was full with new year resolutionists, but recently, I noticed a huge decline in the number of people that frequent the gym.
What happened?
Are you still consistent?
Please share your journey here.

Not bad.
1. I promised to stop drinking carbonated drinks. I am really thrilled by th experience, at first it was really hard,
Temptation and urge of buying soft drinks was always there. Ever since i crossed the 21 days mark, It was then i believed the
power of consistency. I now take only water, or freshly sqeezed joice, mostly water! And no alcohol too. We are in marvh now,
I can safely say Its a habit i would keep for life.

2. I started saving too, the first habit above is really helping to develop new one.

3. And thing I have learnt is, if you really want to develop new habits, say 5 new habits, start with only one, cross tne 21 days mark, pick
Up a second one.....

4. I have also conquered a few bad habits too, on the strength of the first one above. One bad habit was, when i wake up in the morning, I no longer
Grab or go looking for my phone, na, that in the past. I have conquered another habit too.

5. The next habit i want to develop is to review and plan my day, everyday at night and to read at least 2 books in a week.

Cheers! How has yours been?

1. Thank you for sharing, EliteDude
How do you manage to read two books in a week? This is one of the habits I really need to pick up. I am inspired by your post and I should start reading more asap.

2. One of the bad habits I stopped this year is going to the  bathroom with my phone.

3. I salute your effort on cutting off soft drinks, it takes a lot of discipline to achieve that. Luckily,  I don't have a sweet tooth and my gustatory system repels excessive sugar.

4. My saving has been terrible, preping for emergency or pandemic wasn't in my plans at all.

5. I have been taking proactive measure when it comes to my health. No room for ordinary  headache. I made a decision to live by this mantra; Pay now or pay the doctors a lot more later.

1. Thanks for the compliment. Naturally I love to read, so you might want to develop the habit of reading first, book worms can easily influence you.
I was influenced early in life.

2. Lols...that bolded part cracked me up,
Congratularions. Give your self a treat for
Little accomplishments. It helps reinforcement.

3. Good for you. Actually took a lot.
4. Its a habit you'll need, but build it on the strength of other habits.

5. Yea، pay now or pay later.

Well its nice of you of sharing too. Seems like am not a lone on the journey of self development.

My further thoughts on reading.
Start by reading for 30 minutes each day.
Could be any topic or field that interest you. You must be deliberate and intentional.

Cheers.
